Higuain fee apparently about £30m. Tbh if that was what was being banded about at the start I think most people would have found it reasonable considering his record, ability and age (and especially with the fees being paid and demanded for strikers last few years). Looks steeper after weeks of £25m being quoted.

Either way imo it's undoubtedly worth paying a few mil more than you'd like than going into another season with Giroud as our 'main man'.

Well we signed the French Neil Webb but he will rested due to him winning the Under 19's world cup where he did not have the bottle to take a penalty in the shoot out

What are we going to look like with Higuain at Napoli and Suarez at Madrid. Oh dear lord we're a laughing stock. Not an iota of a clue how to conduct a transfer, gaping holes in the squad and we're doing it on the fly. It's gonna be a long season folks.

I looked at our 1st team squad the other day and oh my god we are in trouble also take away another 4 players Park,Camel,forehead and Bender no word of a lie it will be one of the weekest in the PL we need at least 5 big players to come in .

even you guys must reread these posts and think, actually that's bollox isn't it...

We badly need reinforcements just to maintain our level as one of the dozen best in Europe, let alone to push on and challenge for the Prem/CL
But we are obviously not one of the weakest teams in the league or a laughing stock.
We will not be in a relegation battle. If you really believed what you were posting you'd be delighted with any European football.
We will of course get at least that, doubt many of us would celebrate it (virtual barbecue's aside)
