A horrible , bitter and divisive referendum which was blighted or fueled by misinformation and scare mongering from both sides..As usual in tabloid thinking Ireland it was black or white. Reasonable from your perspective only...........you'd have been quite happy with a 50.1% majority win for Remain and that would have been that as far as the EU question was concerned. My original post was about the Irish referendum and democracy surely has to be reflected by the majority not the minority as that is kind of what democracy is about.
