I have no problem with Starmer or any politician having a box at the Emirates

, Providing that they pay for it .
Starmer is a season ticket holder at Arsenal. I would hope that he has paid for that. Agree with you if he hasn’t.

The issue here is that it is considered too much of a security risk for him to sit in his regular seat now that he is PM. The club have therefore given him a box. I’ve got no issue with him not paying the extra for this - surely just a perk of the job of being PM.

I wouldn’t say that Corbyn was his mate - he kicked him out of the Labour Party!

Best thing he ever did as well

Didn't know where to post this ,so figured this thread would be alright

Keir Starmer has been gifted use of a hospitality box by Arsenal football club. It will add many many thousands of pounds to the gifts he will have to disclose this year
I think it’s great that the current Prime Minister is an Arsenal supporter.
It is only right that he should have a hospitality box for matches.
All politicians are lying corrupt thieving cùnts, Rob. Someday you will learn this.

If we have desires to extend the stadium we should get in quick with the planning permission

That's actually a very good point Nick. The tossers along the road had to have a 1k bigger capacity than us, just to satisfy their small club angst about being in our shadow, so I've long thought that building another 10-15k seats at our place would be hilarious. I'm no architect, but from the design of our ground it's probably possible to extend upwards? You'd need a good pair of binoculars to watch the game though.

Sorry but I don’t get the outrage over this. He literally PAYS for a season ticket at Arsenal and has done for years.
However as PM it would cost a lot more to put a security operation in place for him to sit in his regular seat.

Sunak when he was PM turned up at Southampton once a year for a photo opportunity and was placed in the directors box.
Starmer should be applauded for being a regular at Arsenal - Sunak was so out of touch with the people it was unbelievable.

By the way on expenses Starmer has broken NO rules whatsoever. Ok so he has declared expenses of £100,000 over the past 5 years.
Johnson claimed MORE than that just on wallpaper if you remember!!

I believe that Prince William sits in the stands at Villa ( with protection ) and one day he will be King. Maybe he is more popular than Starmer who is now running for cover and is scared to mix with the general public.

One thing I think we can All agree on is what DB said:

"All politicians are lying corrupt thieving cùnts"

I would go further and say that very term also applies to the Royal Family - whoever they might be - Some are PedoCunts(*) who deserve to have their bollocks chopped off and stuffed in their gobs.

(*) Something else Politicians & royals have in common.

Anyhooo! Back to the Ole Football Bollocks...According to the BBC (this morning):

Arsenal met with 28-year-old England striker Ivan Toney, then at Brentford, in the Spring - but decided not to sign him.

Not that we could have afforded half his current Wedge of £400k a Week.(After Tax).
