Bartons challenge was fair - if one of our guys did it we'd be screaming what a great challenge

Me and others have said on here before that Diaby is technically gifted but brainless and boy did he show it. He'll never be a great player because he is stupid....genuinely.

Was never a penalty for the foul on Williamson but they also had a good goal ruled offside by the same lino so let's get over this 'ref lost us the game', he did nothing of the sort.

Our central defenders were shocking once Djourou had gone. YET AGAIN we see how poor we are in that area and yet Wenger still sees no issues. Words fail me

You have to credit Newcastle, they poured on the pressure and like other times in the past year, we folded completely. We're a good team, not a great one. We're incredibly inconsistent and that is what will cost us the league title. Our defence will cost us a CL place. We could do the cup double if Wenger plays our strongest team in every match and we don't have major injuries, but we could easily end up potless again as well if the casual, complacent, mentally weak Arsenal turn up.....and no-one knows the answer to that one!
TeeCee, he looks thick, and is thick, I fucking hate the droopy lipped *word censored*...

I know we wasn't 4 up against them but the 4 all against Tottingham still hurts me more.

Yes, Percy, but it follows a similar capitulation.... you can excuse it happening once, but it happens to regular to this team to be a coincidence...

Oh I know mate but as you say we have previous form for it so I am not that shocked considering the bvack four we have,

PS in my time watching the Arsenal the biggest lead I'd seen blown was to lose 2-3 at Derby, and again at Villa, after being 2-0 up.
In the last 12 months we have twice been 2-0 up(wigan, spuds) and lost.So nothing this team does is surprising

I have just watched the 'highlights' on MOTD for the first time and I have to say........

1) Why is everyone on Squillaci's back? Ok, he sin't the greatest but wasn't at fault yesterday?

2) Diaby acted like a prick. You can hate Barton all you like but it was hard and fair challenge.

3) Rosicky..... enough said.

4) The officials are muppets but they chalked of valid goals for both teams. I don't see that they can be balmed for the result although both penalties were soft!

5) Now this may be a bit harsh but does anyone else thiong that Sczeszseszny was slow to react for the fourth goal? He had a clear sight of it from the moment it left Tiote's foot and it was hardly hut like a rocket. The replay from behind the goal shows he was very late in moving.

6) What a shame for Walcott as he took his goal well. Great strength and a cool finish.

Anyhow, Wenger can stick his great maturity, spirit and belief up his arse! As soon as their second went in we shit ourselves and acted like a bunch of *word censored*!

Tossers. Blame who you like but decent sides don't throw away four goal leads against at best an average Newcastle side.

Arsene give us a wave!

I sat down watching MOTD and wondering where did it all go wrong yesterday..... And then came the moment..... we're 4-0 up and I hear "ole, ole"! WTF! Whoever started that is to blame..... :banghead: !

Oh, and next in line should be Diaby. Fucking arse to put himself in that position and would have been sent off maybe 8 times in 10.

Next in line.....the ref and two linesman. I actually thought the first penalty was harsh but probably just about fair (same as nic's v Huddersfield). But Nolan should definitely have gone for wrestling Chesney to the ground. The second penalty was an absolute joke. Ok, Best was onside for his disallowed goal - but his proper goal followed so soon afterwards that it really made no odds. But RVP's disallowed goal that would have made it 4-5 so oh so close!

Overall, I thought the standard of refereeing was poor enough that someone should be looking very closely at betting patterns this morning......

Mentally I hope, not physically. If the former then who can blame them. Bet you boys were milking it when 4-0 up  ! You have to be able to take it when it goes the other way!
Mental hurt. As you said 4-0 up we were loving it but its just hard to take.

QuartzGooner wrote:Sound like a broken record but if we had strengthened the squad with a centre back and defensive midfielder that many on this Forum believe we have needed for about three seasons, then we may well have held onto our lead.

We have been so close yet so far for three seasons.
Quarta, exactly spot on. Seems Wenger perfers a type of empathetic relationship with the fans and his squad.

Christ even GG would of seen this would happen with this type of team come the Jan/Feb games. Not that unepectedly defending him, beacuse he also bought some real donkeys as well  :x :x

He wasn't at fault for anyother of the goals.

I agree that he has been largely terrible but I think that several 'fans favourites' were very much more culpable than him yesterday.

Also, maybe a few people on here will start to appreciate the role Song has in the team after that capitulation yesterday.

8)

Just got back from Newcastle and my oh my, what a fucking joke. Nothing else to say really as everyone else has commented and said how unbelievable the 2nd half was.

Can I just add how I want Dowd to get hit by a bus, that fat fucking *word censored*, although it was our fault for throwing it away, that *word censored* couldn't of done more to help Newcastle if he wanted to. Fat smug faced *word censored*.

People in Newcastle were nice though, thought they'd hate us Londoners  Good night last night and long old drive back up this evening. Roll on Wolves who will be pumping with emphusiasm :barscarf:

Oh and I saw AA23 up there :barscarf: Shame I missed Frank though, I did tell AA23 to send my love
