Manure FA cup footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's an achievement for sure, and on a good day is the cherry on the cake, as far as taunting the opposition goes. But using it to taunt the opposition when they're turning you over, and the fact that it was nine years ago?

If Liverpool or Spuds fans came out with this (or Aston Villa, singing about the European Cup), many here would probably accuse them of living in the past.
We were losing but the fans were still taking the piss and backing the team. Can't really knock that, and it was fucking fun at the time, even if we were losing.

The home support at Old Trafford was not very loud, the Stretford end made some noise in the 2nd half but as there were a distance from the Arsenal fans and not making much noise one of the few United chants I could make was 1 more league.

Atleast all the fans complaining on here about a potential replay can celebrate there won't be one as we lost. :banghead:

First time I heard them was when they went 2-0 up.

Their support is fucking dreadful.

Even after 9 years THAT song still gets under thier skin.

First visit to OT and the away support made my day with the backing we gave the team.

Shame the usual suspects in the team capitulated once again.

Good support yesterday, well done.

But everytime we sang "shall we sing a song...", they sang "shall we win a cup..." Ouch! :banghead:

Still winning cups is so 6 years ago

In distant days ago we did, yeah. Can United win the League at our place this season?

I'm sure it's a definitely possibility. Would only need a couple of results to fall the right way... :(

God, unless we pull our finger out, the end of this season could be a lot to tolerate...and end if with plenty of gooners flushing their heads down various loos.

quite a few have to

lets say ManUre win every game - bolton, west ham, fulham, everton far from impossible despite their shite away form

and we don't even win 2 games v wba, blackburn, blackpool, liverpool, sperz

chavski would still have to get less than 14 from citeh stoke wigan wba brum west ham sperz

can't see it

I meant to say, did anyone get in the accident on the M1 in the 50 limit?

I moved lanes to go past and a KA had suddenly stopped dead, no brake lights nothing, at least a couple of cars must have rear ended each other. I was pretty lucky to have moved over

Looked nasty

Villa actually won the league at Highbury , but only because Ipswich lost that day. We beat Villa 2-0 with Brian McDermott the Reading manager scoring...
As for the "We won the league at OT" song..why not? .They still sing the "Vieira , he gave Giggs the ball and Arsenal won fuck all" song . That was there to be changed in 2005 to "Vieira, last time he kicked the ball Man U won fuck all "
