I'm not upset because I'm not surprised by it anymore, he had a chance in the Summer to put things right, delayed it as long as possible then panicked into buying cheaper options, for that he is responsible, while we may be more a team now the same weaknesses are still evident.

He can't talk his way out of this one.

just got back. incredible support considering how poor we were, as soon as blackburn scored to make it 3-2 the atmosphere changed totally . gooners in the upper tier at each others throats when someone yelled "WENGER FUCK OFF". surprising how many still show faith in the *word censored*.
RVP was the only player to acknowledge the fans after the game and he got a great applause . Shit afternoon , we probably need to lose to shrewsbury to have any chance of mending our season , wenger has built possibly our worst defence ever.

He'll try though!! :banghead: :banghead: I agree with everything you say but all the while he's not being put under pressure by us or the Board, he'll continue to get away with it.

And he'll continue spouting bollocks; continue picking a team of 11 uncoached individuals; continue dragging us down and continue picking up an enormous salary at our expense . . . . .

In the interview I've seen him make on Sky, he claims it was a freak result, in which we scored 5 goals and still lost. He pointed to statistics to suggest we should have won and blamed it all on a lack of focus. Focus is a basic skill of being a pro. The guy needs to be taken out of the firing line. He is showing clear signs of stress, but his pride won't allow him to admit he's struggling. Wenger is ill.

Defensively fragile? Oh, honestly, for fuck's sake! Tell, you what Wenger, fucking sort it out then. Stope being a *word censored*, get off your pathetic high horse about Man Shitty and the Chavs, Manure and Barcelona and actually do something with the shit you have bought to play for Arsenal. Teach the defenders how to fucking well defend and if you can't do that, it simple, fuck off. I am sick to death of this imbecile's stupid excuses and am wondering how shit it has to be before he takes some modicum of responsibility.

Failure to bring in a proper defensive coach has cost us.

I said it before and I will say it again, even with good defenders they still need to be organised.

Maybe over time we will get used to the new system of marking but when a proven defensive coach like Keown is not brought in there are serious concerns.

Time for Wenger to go - PLEASE GO!

Some of you will say 'well who ekse is there to take over' ?

fk sake at present that's the thing we would be able to attract (ie NOT quality players) but there's manager's out there who'd die to give the chance to turn things around.

can it get worse?

relishing our next CL game? i'm not ...

Time for Wenger to go - PLEASE GO!

It's very simple. For the last 5 years (since Dein left) Wenger has poked his nose into areas that don't concern him. He has tried to run Arsenal from top to bottom, including our finances, and as a result he has taken his eyes off of the job he is paid to do - running a football team. The team has suffered due to continual lack of coaching and lack of quality investment and now he has lost the squad. The guy needs to go.

If not Keown, why not Tony Adams?...He has said on numerous occasions he would love to be involved at Arsenal....maybe he would be too demanding and too tough for our (so called) defenders  :banghead:

David Moyes at Everton would give his left arm to have the sort of money to spend that the GIC has.
He practically runs the club off selling players and yet he STILL manages to get players for their team that their fans can get behind and that can make the supporters proud.
I would suggest that the likes of Jagielka, Fellaini, Baines even Heitinga would be immediate first teamers if they played for us and he has brought the best out of average players (likes of Osman etc).

My point is that the GIC has had millions to spend and 6 years to bring home a trophy. Moyes has won SFA but thats hardly surprising. The one thing he has won however is the trust of his supporters. Can we say that Wenger has our trust anymore-NO.

Moyes has bridged the gap on richer teams through good coaching, shrewd spending and ambition that brings confidence to even the least able player in his squad.

Money is no excuse for incompetenece and today was exactly that.

NO Work ethic
NO Confidence
NO Plan B
NO Chance

Special circumstances.
Come back to me when we ship goals like that every week.

we also scored three great goals today including firsts for Arteta and Gerv.

For anyone who watched a midfield of morrow, hillier and Jensen, not to mention carter, selly and mcgoldrick, the hysteria here is laughable.
I did watch those guys and I would have them back in a heart-beat in front of the gutless, characterless and downright shite players that are wearing the shirt for us now!! And while we're at it, I'd have Graham back as well because he wouldn't let shit like this keep happening to us!! How bad do things have to go before the criticism stops being 'hysteria' and starts being accurate and relevant?

To my mind that time has long passed and I'm not prepared to take 'lectures' from people that can't see how bad things have become nor work out the reasons why. You might be prepared to silently watch our club continue to go backwards but there are many of us that aren't, so don't you dare get up on your AKB pedestal and criticise us for caring!!
