Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano (25 December 1974 – 7 October 2012) was a Mexican drug lord and top leader of the criminal organization known as Los Zetas. He was one of Mexico's most-wanted drug lords.

While in the army, he reportedly received military training from the Israeli and the United States army, but he eventually defected after eight years of service in 1998. Upon his defection, he was recruited by the drug lord Osiel Cárdenas Guillén and Arturo Guzmán Decena with around 30 other soldiers to work as the enforcers of the Gulf Cartel, forming the paramilitary group known as Los Zetas.
He was killed in a firefight with the Mexican Navy on 7 October 2012. His body, however, was stolen by gunmen at a funeral home after the navy had handed the corpse to the state authorities.

RIP Edward Archbold
Death of
cockroach-eating contest winner may have been an allergic reaction, doctors reveal.
Mystery still surrounds the death of the father-of-two who collapsed moments after winning a cockroach-eating competition.
It will be weeks before an autopsy reveals what exactly it was that killed Eddie Archbold, 32, from West Palm Beach, Florida, but experts have said that eating the roaches and other insects should not have been the cause.
While participating in the Midnight Madness bug-eating competition at Ben Siegel Reptiles in Deerfield Beachon on Friday night,
Eddie was eating so many live roaches he had to cover his mouth to keep them from crawling out, swallowing some of them whole and still alive.
He ate more than 60 grams of meal worms, 35 three-inch-long 'super worms' and a bucket of discoid roaches, according to the Miami Herald.
But he started vomiting and collapsed in front of the store shortly after.
Dr Bill Kern, a professor of entomology at the University of Florida, said it could have been an allergic reaction to the large amount of foreign protein that killed the 32-year-old.
