Herd wrote:Simple DB ,Bendy never was never an extended run as the lone up front man ,and like him or lump him he can score ,his record for Denmark speaks for himself.
He could also hold the ball up well, but thats just my opinion .

I'm very happy to wait for Giroud to come good but just remember Chamakh is the back up for Giroud and he is IMO pretty shit and not fit to lick the Bendy boots !

Since we haven't SOLD Bendy for any coin I think its shortsighted to out him for a year !
Bendy has suffered from the fact that the Camel is so shit that nobody even fancied him on loan. We couldn't hang on to both and let them drain 120k per week in wages between them, so Bendy went again. I do agree though - Bendy is 100x better than the useless Moroccan. Then again Lee Chapman, John Hawley and Ray Hankin were better bets than him as well

Bendtner, considering that he is a big c**t, is absolutely shit in the air and has the hold up possession ability of an ass in high heels   Seriously the guy has fcuk all basic footballing skills and his goals record at international level has disguised that - I would suggest that he is more suitable to international football cos he doesn't face as many physical battles as he does in England.

Giroud may not have scored but was excellent on Sunday.

He didnt give Skertl and Agger one moments rest and won his fair share of balls.

To say he is better than Bentnder is ridiculas and defiantly after 3 games

He's more expensive that I know ,but we shall see if he is better won't we !
I have seen bendy play very well and consistently for Denmark who aren't world beaters but he still shines .
On the evidence I've seen so far Giroud has not looked very good at all,but as I've said I'm happy to wait !

i watched the game again last night, and that first goal took me back to the days of overmars, anelka, bergkamp, pires, TH14 etc when we were lethal on the break with lightening fast one touch football.

it was odd not seeing hleb, forehead or theo run it into the corner, or song or ramsay hold it up long enough for their back four to get back.

Liverpool owner John Henry warns fans over 'risky' spending

I bet Ivan and Arsene were having a nice cosy drink with them in the board room afterwards
They are probably relieved about the $270million they saved with the Red Sox by trading a large part of the team away to the equivalent of Chelsea when they first got money and were buying anyone.

And now that Abou is back in the side we've got the man to make that goal happen on a regular basis - look at the way he broke the midfield at pace and created chances for Podolski and Giroud. Last game he started before this season. Away at Fulham the season before last - last game at the Cottage. Look at the assist for RvP's goal - pure magic.

We've got the best midfielder in the league and we should all sit back and enjoy the moment....
