MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Shoddy.
Poor passing, lack of creativity and gaping holes in defence.

Sagna tackled well but positionally our defence was all at sea.

Wilshere gave a strong performance.

I should also add I hope we sign no-one this window so our next manager can properly spend the cash. I am not wumming I just want Wenger out A.S.A.P

On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are u now

2, trust me, i'd rather we had an honest, hard-working squad with a well drilled back 4 and a manager who prioritised domestic cups not an imaginary trophy.

If missing top 4 is what it takes for a change then so be it, let the crappy short-term results continue.

We could finish mid-table ans Inspector Clueless would still be in charge....manager and board AND owner don't have a clue about football and winning - only about how to balance the books and make a profit....

The red card will serve to take away how clueless we were. We didn't concede the two goals because we had ten men, we just can't defend. That first goal in particular was embarrassing, the second was just poor play but the first was us in a nutshell: nobody paying one iota of attention to their responsibilities.

SkySports can try and talk it up to bang on about what a Super Sunday it was but realistically we never looked like getting anything from it. By the time Kompany (what an idiot btw) got sent off then we'd already played 70-odd minutes with 10 men and were fucked, and it's hardly like we had any spark.

Have to question why Wenger puts repeated faith in Koscielny when every single time somebody turns their back to him his first instinct is to haul them down. It's embarrassing.

We ballsed the game up in the first half with our brain-fart of a response to going a man down  - brainless stuff. Seriously, how the fuck can we be caught sleeping at a free kick on the edge of our box for their first goal? - this Arsenal team have the mental strength of children  CONCENTRATE FFS!! :banghead:

Second half was much better, but the damage had already been done. After the sending off, we should have defended properly and made sure we didn't give any cheap goals away... instead, we opted for a gung-ho, adrenaline fueled response and paid the price. Tactically awful. Zero discipline.

In fact, if our performance today was a stick of rock, it would have the word 'Wenger' written right through it. Typically clueless first half performance. :|
