Re: Man City Away
don't be too harsh on ozil,it could be worse,he could have been laughing and joking as he walked off like he didn't give a fuck,at least he showed he was bothered at the result, defeat hurts for him,hes not used to it unlike the rest of the wenger inbreds who roll over and have there tummies tickled,he must be thinking what am I doing here

Re: Man City Away
Who's this Ozil you all speak of? Didn't see anyone on the pitch today going by that name
Re: Man City Away
The biggest problem for me regardless of how you saw the game today is that Wenger's unwillingness / inability to address the core weaknesses of the squad continues to let us all down
His answer to any crisis is to sign another attacking midfielder. Ozil has obvious class but on a list of priorities, a player of his kind was way down the list
Bendtner coming off the bench for us in games like this is an absolute joke. In fairness to young Gnabry he showed a lot of heart when he came on, but should we be turning up at places like the Etihad with The King of Denmark as our first and only replacement striker?

My fear is that the club will read this thread and decide to offer refunds to the fans that went up there....on top of the £10 meal voucher!! Getting sweet FA when we make the shittier trip to Newcastle in a couple of weeks time so think they should share the love a little more evenly...

Course not Steve, but in fairness Bendy did score (Disallowed I know) and also did a good assist to Wally (I think)SteveO 35 wrote:The biggest problem for me regardless of how you saw the game today is that Wenger's unwillingness / inability to address the core weaknesses of the squad continues to let us all down

My fear is that There's Only One's answer to the inevitable Christmas collapse will be to go out and spend £40m signing Draxler or another midfielder. I really see that as a possibilityMK Gould wrote:True...but he did "score"!SteveO 35 wrote:The biggest problem for me regardless of how you saw the game today is that Wenger's unwillingness / inability to address the core weaknesses of the squad continues to let us all down

1. This has been an ongoing fault/situation for some 7 seasons now....and I really cannot understand that an obviously intellignet indivual cannot see it....it beggars belief.SteveO 35 wrote:The biggest problem for me regardless of how you saw the game today is that Wenger's unwillingness / inability to address the core weaknesses of the squad continues to let us all down

2. Gnabry deserves to be given more playing time - such as when we are winning with ten mis to go - even just that will help boost his self belief and deepen his experience.
Put it this way if Wenger had one of those Burger/hot Dog Vans - the wheels would have come off, he's have run out of kethcup and health & safety would have closed him down long ago.
Unlike someone I know who apparently is the King of BBQ's - Though of course this has yet to be proven.

Re: Man City Away
Draxler isnt coming
Still think 60m may tempt Suarez, next few weeks will tell, esp if the mousers start to sink faster than us

Re: Man City Away
The Suarez train was well & truly missed in the summer when we shit our pants & offered a pathetic insult of an offer. Put £45-50m on the table and he woulda been ours. Since then his form (and subsequently price) has rocketed even further. Not a hope in hell of him joining us.MK Gould wrote:Suarez...£60m...you heard it here first!
As SteveO has said, if anyone comes in January, it's gonna be Draxler
