Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Poor old Abou :(

What if it was announced on the same day that both Diaby AND Wenger were gone? You're head would probably explode from it all. :barscarf:

I bet it's torn in several places and rashly sellotaped back together.

Now now chaps - no posters of the great Abou on my wall....I'm not sure Mrs SteveO would find that acceptable. Junior SteveO does have a nice little photo of the great man on his wall though

Right well I think we should get Social Services involved...forcing a child to look at a frightening thing like that staring down at him at night. My God man, what hope is there for that poor soul.

Lol - the picture of Gervinho that stares down at him is more worrying to be honest. If I woke up and saw that head I'd swear my fear of being abducted by aliens had come true

Hopefully Abou can come back and make it a very Merry Christmas for us all.

He'll be fresh just in time for the crucial period of games in January - good news :barscarf:

Remember.....when Abou plays, we don't lose :barscarf:

I could go all HighburyJD on you now and get all hissy (despite claiming otherwise) and accuse you all of engaging in homoerotic fantasies....

...but these two things called a 'life' and a 'sense of humour' prevent me from doing so

Oh sod it - fuck the bloody lot of you :D

Get that bloody champers ordered for when the Great Abou delivers the CL in May :barscarf:

There's a wild fury that rises up inside me on the very rare occasions I get to see his patched up carcass trudging around the pitch.

I look at his bean shaped gormless head and all I can see is 80 grand a week being shat down the toilet on his medical bills. A complete waste of money, a complete waste of space and dare I say it a complete waste of his old man's jism :banghead:

I started this off as a positive thread about a player who came back and played amazing for 3 or 4 games then he took a shot and went back to being crocked again.
This does have to be one of Wengers many weaknesses. Sadly for us he is happy to pay a crock 80,000 a week but fail to reach an agreement with quality players like Van Persie and Walcott.
Yes they have had their Injury problems too but all seems ok for both at the moment which is more than I can say for the total waste of money that is Diaby.
Wenger must know that he is finished but will still keep him on and pay him I am sure of it.
