Olympiakos at home.

First real mistake other than V Saints (and not a major one then) in Credit card cup last season TBF to Ospina

Faffing around moaning about Ospina plays into the AKB and AWs hands- the whole team played like toilet. The manager is a total busted flush

This is the point I was making last night - to suggest that we would have won had cech been in goals is ridiculous cos he isnt superman and certainly isnt capable of doing the work of 9 outfield players as well
Tactics and lack of motivation continue to cripple us and will continue to do so until le prix fcuks off :(

But you miss the point about Ospina, of course he is not a bad keeper, but Cech was the obvious choice.
It was an unnecessary risk to take, like leaving home without your brolly despite a 10% chance of rain.
Sure, you could stay dry and probably will, but why take a chance?

Sorry I didnt make it clear enough, its an easy diversion to focus on Ospina- not many were over upset with his selection, its the way the team played and who should have been playing (Ie who should have been signed to strengthen the squad) , thems the problem, not the Columbian international GK

It totally plays into Wengers hand to lay the blame at Ospina. he is the very least of our problems. TBH many on here have been rather underwhelmed by Cechs showings so far anyway...

We played like shite for 80 min. of the game. They did for the other 20. All but Alexis just not that good. No energy, passion or guts. Bunch of feckin pussies !!. Bring back win bonus & maybe they'll get stuck in !! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Mate, it's easy to be results orientated and lay into Ospina, but I was behind that goal moaning all the first half about why Cech wasn't in goal long before his howler.

Wenger owes it to the fans to field the strongest team in this competition regardless of the opposition. The thing that fucks me off more than anything else is how wenger suggests he doesn't have to answer to the media. Ok, then let one of the fans in that turned up to watch that shit last night to question his team selection/tactics then!

Metersecker coming out with same old shit...we must Concentrate more, and learn from our mistakes......

What he has to learn is not to turn his back when a forward is shooting on goal FFS :banghead:

The way he lumbers across field when tracking back is embarrassing

This defeat is not down to any single player, the buck stops at Wenger.....

And you honestly think our "full team" would have won last night- it wasnt much different to usual. Many have been calling for Gabriel before BFG, Gibbs isnt as good as Monreal, but not by very much, many also calling for Rambo to be dropped and The Ox played. Ospina shouldnt kop it- he did well V Scum after all.

Its a smokescreen the rotation thing, ignore it- WE arent good enough (AFC I mean  ) thats where all the focus needs to be on.

nothing will change while Le Cock is in charge,as sad as it is we are stuck with him,i don't think its fair to blame the players for last night,if those same players were assembled by a world class manager we would beat every team world wide, this is the most criminal thing about our situation,we have such a talented squad a squad which most clubs would only dream of yet Wenker hasn't a clue what hes doing with it.right now everything is in place to take the world on,we have the stadium, the revenue and the squad the only thing that is a fuck up is the manager and yet he doesn't seem to see it,on the other hand he does but is too arrogant to fall on his sword,i wish he would just fuck off before Sanchez fucks off

Lets get one thing straight player for player we are a better team than Olympiakos, Dynamo Zagreb and West Ham

But as we know not quite as simple as that........they were all well prepared playing as a unit with focus determination and TACTICS!

on a footnote has Steve Bould been afflicted with the Pat Rice syndrome....you never see him speaking while on the touchline wit Wenger.....WTF???

Never fear, because the Big Fucking Gimp had claimed "we will learn" from this
Forget the 18 years without learning a thing, didn't this inept fuckwit learn anything from his Monaco horror show last year? Apparently not, if you watch that winning goal again...

Hoddle made such pertinent points on BT.

"there shouldn't be a big hole there". [3rd goal]

"They went gung Ho after 2:2".

I don't think they got chance to go gung ho after it went 2-2. I was just typing the Alexis Sanchez baby song when they scored. :banghead: :banghead:

Anyone remember Wenger saying last season after the Monaco debacle that maybe this team may benefit by playing in the Europa league? Looks like he's lining us up for 3rd and run of Thursday night, Sunday afternoon matches. As for last night only watched 2nd half, don't see what ospina did wrong for their third? And saw their keeper make save after save. What's the point of finishing second only to go out in first round of knock out matches. Might as well finish 3rd and get to Europa league final because that's our level.

but we wouldn't even win that, its pointless being in Europe full stop,id rather get out of our group and go out in the knock outs anything but Thursday/sunday football
