As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Even though we weren't as abysmal as I was expecting, the gulf between the two teams is still highly embarrassing. A 5-1 loss on aggregate would have been humiliating 10-20 years ago, but expectations are so low now, that it actually seems like moderate success. Pathetic.
Barca must look at this biannual fixture a bit like how we feel when we drew Watford in the cup. Similar gulf in quality. Difference is Barcelona have a manager and a system which makes their advantage tell. We have Wenger.

Barca see us as their banker tie, the same way Man Utd always had bankers during their dominant era (usually Spurs, Everton, Wigan and Aston Villa).
Porto in 2010 was the last time we won over two legs in this blasted competition. Shouldn't Wenger's 18 years of experience be paying off?
