THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not sure about the links between Wenger and PSG, but this could be relevant.

I can only hope that Leonardo leaving would mean Wenger going there to establish a youth system or something like a manager/director of football role...

Pretty Please!!!! :D

A good article on AW last night on espn called growing old gracefully by Richard jolly.

No manager has ever improved after 60.

He also mentioned the decline of Robson and Clough as I did. But he mentioned a few more examples - sacchi, trappatoni .

He makes a great point - who would ever think that they were better at their job at 63 rather than 53 ?

In 2014 AW will be 65 and he can celebrate 10 years without a title. Yay....

Am I right in saying that we haven't won more than 3 games in a row this season ? If so then qpr are a win against villa away from equalling that "feat" - doesn't get much more embarrassing than that really

Is he still in a job? If so, vehemently against.
