Erm, before we lost to Sp*rs, we'd won the previous 3 league games, hadn't we?clockender1 wrote:correct. we have only had back to back wins three times.augie wrote:Am I right in saying that we haven't won more than 3 games in a row this season ? Get Wenger Out now! He is embarrassing our club and it will never improve and we are on a downward hill from now on. Of course the board won't change anything as they are so far up his arse as he brings them so much money. Pissed off

Hmmmm they were all probably trying to get him when Arsenal were declining. I still think he'll go to a top quality team when he leaves ArsenalGoonimp wrote:I'm against but Bayern, Real Madrid, PSG, Brazil, England and France seemed to think he was ok...bang goes the 0-0 draw wrote:I'm against but Bayern, Real MAdrid, PSG, Brazil, England and France seemed to think he's ok...

His reputation alone would probably let him walk into a very good job when he finally goes but not one where he is immune to criticism and pressure for success - PSG and many others would have no qualms hiring him and sacking him after a year.

No doubt some will claim that he has an agenda, is jealous or he is bitter

"............ the French tactician............."

Re: Arsene Wenger - For him or against him?
I listened to his interview on TalkSport and he was much more diplomatic than the article says, which is the usual crap that the print media do. He more or less said that the standards of players have dipped and as a result the results have as well. Can't really argue with that, however, there is the argument that he could and should augment his tactics to the players that he has which he hasn't done.armchair supporter wrote:"............ the French tactician............."

Re: Arsene Wenger - For him or against him?
For me that is the absolute crux of the issue. Wenger is still trying to play an open expansive form of Barca-Lite tippy tappy, but with players that don't have the technical ability, the mental strength or the hunger and drive to play that style. A pragmatic manager would look at the players he has and try to work out a system that plays to their strengths, not do what Wenger has done in trying to wedge players into a system they can't play and often playing players out of position in a failed attempt to impliment the system.begeegs wrote:I listened to his interview on TalkSport and he was much more diplomatic than the article says, which is the usual crap that the print media do.
