As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Woke up with low expectations but still find myself getting angrier and angrier each time they go to the reporter at ours.
Thank fuck I've got to go to work in a few hours.
The thing that is pissing me off is that the impression that Collins is giving is that there seems to be no organisation or structure behind the scenes
Can anyone tell me why they are even letting nick Collins into the ground today ? I mean we all (including him) are predicting no signings at AFC today, so why not just tell him that there is nothing happening today and tell him to fcuk off elsewhere or take the day off and go home ? The last bit might be slightly tongue in cheek, but the club know if we have any deals in the pipeline and there can be no real reason to keep the man there - it's not as if the food is nice in the stadium either
Is it just me or has everything also gone quiet on outgoings ? There doesn't seem to be anything on the possibility of joel Campbell leaving and that surprises me
Allow me to throw this theory in.
Jose knew exactly what he was doing a few weeks ago when he suggested Arsenal are almost as big spenders (recently) as Chelsea.
He knew Wenger would take the bait, and try to get through this window spending as little as possible.

Yup! maureen plays wenger like a marionette every fucking time....and the Clueless crunt just can't see it.

Very unlikely #AFC will make any signings today. Explored options but nothing was close & almost certainly no ins or outs now #DeadlineDay
Benzema would have been a good signing for Arsenal, admits Giroud
Olivier Giroud insists he would have welcomed the arrival of Karim Benzema at Arsenal before the striker insisted he was happy at Real Madrid.
And Giroud said he would have welcomed the competition.
'The coach [Wenger] knows very well what he is doing, and sometimes you should not buy just to buy, and sometimes there are not players out there that you need, who are available,' Giroud told beIN Sports.
'We have a very good squad, with quality, and I am sure that with this squad we can go very far. But it would have been good if Karim had signed too.
Now you tell me who that sounds like. That's the mantra that Wenger has drummed into everyone at the club.
Love the way Giroud says we can go very far. Never says we can actually win anything, just go "very far". How's that for ambition, says EVERYTHING you want to know about the mindset at the club

POSTED 09/03, think up your own theory please......
Think there is some sense in your reasoning, if advised he will ignore and do the opposite,
Not sure if the Mourinho dig about calculators and adding up spending was designed exactly to stop Wenger buying anyone

Think we can safely say they will win fuck all this season....with that super strike force of theirs
Giroud - immobile lamppost gives nothing to the team, restricts creative passing from good technical midfield players
Wellbeck - trys hard but not the required grade
Walcott - If you believe what he says the answer to everything, but in reality cannot finish, no composure on the ball, and no real game reading /awareness
3rd place was the worst thing that could have happened to us
each time we finish 3rd then le clueless thinks we have a good squad and adds nobody
then every year after we finish 3rd we finish 4th
3rd in 2007/08 4th in 2008/09
3rd in 2009/10 4th in 2010/11
3rd in 2011/12 4th in 2012/13
3rd in 2014/15 4th in 4th place is coming
