Possibly (probably) taken out of context by the media vermin? But either way never a truer word was spoken.clockender1 wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 1:38 pmwow that didn't take long - PEA :

well, he only worked with the ex-manager for 5 months. so he has zero loyalty.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 3:27 pm

I would not be surprised to see Sanchez make similar comments tbh.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I get the feeling that Wenger will hang around like a bad smell with the media going to him for comments about everything, expect him to be especially irritating around bad spells.
Let's hope we get off to a flyer so he has no opportunity, this should be the first season in a while where the team is ready for day one so no excuse not to.

I don’t have a problem with Wenger commentating on all things Arsenal from next season. He’s had to put up with ex players saying stuff during his tenure. He is an Arsenal fan so why shouldn’t he, and as the squad evolves away from the Wenger era why should any of them take any notice of what he has to say, good or bad.Gunnersaurus wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 4:17 amI get the feeling that Wenger will hang around like a bad smell with the media going to him for comments about everything, expect him to be especially irritating around bad spells.

Agree with this. I will choose not to read his comments or simply ignore them.nut flush gooner wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 6:29 amI don’t have a problem with Wenger commentating on all things Arsenal from next season. I can imagine countless 'Wenger' threads being started after each comment he makes.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I reached the point years ago that I couldn’t listen to him, stopped reading his managers thoughts, and told the club not to email me any of his excuses. I expect most of the players switched off when he spoke after a few years of the same old same old, cant see anyone being bothered with his demented ramblings. The Arsenal Way wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 7:02 amAgree with this. I certainly have a problem with it - for years we have listened to his bullshit ramblings about every topic under the sun even if it had nothing to do with his job with us, and I have long since reached the point where I dont want to listen to his shit anymore. If he wants to be a pundit then let him fcuk off and do it about the french national team or some other club side, but he is no longer part of our club and should stay the fcuk out of our business

Lets be honest here, what would you expect him to say as a pundit ? If the team is doing well he wont praise them cos the spotlight will automatically shine on his inability to get the club back on track. I view wenger as a dangerous weapon now - if we are not doing so well (which is to be expected for a while given the clusterfuck emery is facing), then he would be in a position to stir up the emotions of his cult (replace the "L" with an "n" if you wish) following and heap up the pressure on emery, and that wont be helpful for anyone.
Being honest I have never bought this shit about wenger being a fan of the club - he was an (well paid) employee of the club, who consistantly put his own ego ahead of the good of the club. Throughout the past decade he has disrespected the fanbase and their commitment, and even this week he couldnt resist a pop at the fans by saying that it is their lack of patience that forced his sacking. Having being paid an extortinate amount (given his performance) of money in the past decade, he still insisted on being paid up for the last remaining year of his contract - that is the mindset of an employee who feels entitled, and not a fan who would leave the money in the club cos he doesnt need it
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Fucking hell can you lot stop bumping this thread. Let's talk about Emery instead.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
he is not an Arsenal Fan. nope. no way. he has no idea of what it is to be The Arsenal.
if he had, we would never have left THOF.
he's a fucking thief, he stole his wages for the last ten years. if I ever see him in the stands, i'll tell him so, as far as I am concerned he is NOT welcome at the Stadium. that ship sailed a long, long time ago.
