THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

“You wake up at 3am thinking about team selection, tactics, formation…”

Anyone else see this quote from his interview?
January 2, 1989, I was in Turkey and had to fly via England. At the time, men and women weren't allowed in the same stand at Arsenal

It is interesting to find out what will happen to Wenger could see him just retiring as this summer proves big clubs are not interested and he will not want to manage lower down.

Personally i would love to see him go to Charlton just to see Frank have a melt down :barscarf:
:coffeespit:

The thought of Fwank being trolled by Wenger!

someone should send him a DVD of Fever Pitch, when Colin and Mark take the lovely Ruth Gemmell in the Clock End.

though of course, the ex-manager probably thought the whole story was fiction

I thought Fever Pitch WAS fiction, based upon 1988-89 season.

Haha that would be fantastic.

Have thought all along that Wenger would probably take an international job.

What a stupid *word censored* this man is. You've been sacked now just fuck off and stop making stuff up. This is the nonsense of a prick who's lied so many times he's now started to live a fantasy life where all the shit he's made up over the years forms part of his memories. Just piss off.

I can see him in an old folks home in years to come telling all of these stories and all of the care assistants smiling sympathetically saying “yes Mr Wenger of course you did. Now how about that cup of tea”.

Whispering to each other “poor man thinks he used to manage a football club. Insists he won two doubles and went a whole league season unbeaten. Best just let them believe these things”

I'd go out of my way to get a job in that old folks home just to piss in his corn flakes.

Weren't some people calling for this thread to be closed down a while ago? This could be the start of a public meltdown by TOF  It's maybe just beginning to sink in to the deluded old twat that RM and Barca haven't been on the phone begging for his services. Who knows what drivel he will start spouting as the press start to show more of an interest in his (non existent and irrelevant) future. He said he would make a decision on his future by the start of the WC however TOF hasn't exactly been quick to share the outcome. I wonder why
