Whats happening with Cahill and Samba? Still talk of them coming I seen. Bring all 3 in and play Vermaelen DM. :shock: 8)

Where is this "marquee signing" that was talked about?

Where is the sign of midfielders?

Maybe shouldn't say too much just yet but if we sign Mertesacker it will be the most excited I have been about a signing since.....Reyes probably?

It'll be the first genuinely quality experienced players we've signed in years that's for sure.

Canal+ Have announced the signing of Mertesacker is complete, saying he flew over this morning for a medical and it's now been done and passed, fee and personal terms all agreed.

BBC reporting he is in london for medical, so look like its actually happening.

I think its one of either or from Samba and Cahill.
Still a defence of Verm/Mertz, Cahill or Samba and Kos is an vast improvment.....3 year too late.

I think we've tried to have talks with Sneijder and some others so I think ( I hope) he's still on the look out.

Have you noticed we are signing players who know how to look after themselves due to the area they are coming from?

Chu-Young from Korea, Santos who is coming to us from Turkey and Joe Cole from Liverpool!
