Deadline day Arshavin saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The strong word on the street is that the deal is off. All over Reuters and now on the BBC

what a shambles.... Imagine how the bloke himself must feel, he passed a medical, agreed and signed a contract (so they say) and now the deal is off.

this is embarassing. I cant belive what has happened today.

With the amount of political correctness that surrounds The Arsenal Football Club today, as in the way it is run and the way it conducts itself over almost everything, I would advise fellow Gooners not to believe or take any interest in this deal until it appears on the shit that is Arsenal.com. That's when you know it must be true. If it's ever announced on that sqeaky clean site then we've signed him, and this pathetic saga is finally over. :-P  :banghead: :blah: :awnker:
