Not for me Augie, like our own strikers he misses too many chances. He and the poison dwarf, should have had Ireland in the world cup finals, but failed to take good chances against France in Paris.
Also technically, I think he is way short. An honest player I agree but would be similar signing to when we signed Hartson.

I like Doyle but I doubt we'ld sign 2 strikers this summer

Yeah too right, the modern day Chris Kiwomya :oops:

To be fair he is a lot better than that, works hard for his team and has good first touch and link up play (take note bedtner) but I agree he is hardly the type of player that will take us to the next level
