Big fan of Treme, enjoyed the second series a bit more than the first though...QuartzGooner wrote:Recommend "TREME"; good drama by team who made "The Wire", set in New Orleans just after Hurricane Katrina.
Good acting, interesting plot and lots of Jazz and Funk music included.

If you like Zombie movies, you'll love this! it's like 28 days laters, but spread over 19 episodes so far, and a 3rd season starts in the Autumn!

Second series is a bit slow but love it all the same. Ive always been a big zombie film fan and this series is fantastic because it gets so in depth due to it not being over in 90 mins. Really looking forward to series 3

Re: THE NORTHBANKBREN TV SHOW THREAD
Anybody seen any of The Killing season 2?
Re: THE NORTHBANKBREN TV SHOW THREAD
Yes, watching it in sync with the US schedule. I really enjoyed the first season so maybe my opinion is a little biased but it's very good. A little slow in the first few episodes but it's picking up now. New episode tonightHashKads wrote:Anybody seen any of The Killing season 2?

Also, need to give a mention to the two Louis Theroux documentaries this past fortnight on Autism & Dementia. Great stuff from Louis as always...

Your right about the Louis Theroux programmes, brilliant as always. Don't think I've watched one of his docs that weren't. The dementia one was really good, my grandma had it and it shows the harsh realities that those who can't afford care can really be in a tough situation. One of the hardest things to deal with seeing a person you love not recognise you. But like the guy who's mother was completely out of it said, it's moments like when she touched his face that are worth being there til the end. The level of care in some of the care homes in the UK is shocking to say the least.
He's got another doc coming out soon about the Porn industries decline. I'm sure many on here contribute to that
