Very quietly.Think he may have found his level last night.Come back when he does it against a top 3 team.
He has exceeded both my expectations and hopes which is the reverse of Wilshere so I say well done.

Theo Walcott says Arsenal can beat anyone if they maintain the "intensity" of their performance in Istanbul on Wednesday night.

His luck will continue for at least another 2-3 years now that we are all but through to Kroenke's money making 'oh so exciting' Group stage of the CL

None of this is remotely surprising - we've won 11 out of 11 qualifying games and although people have a mini panic each time we get to this stage, its a seeded draw which 9 times out of 10 means we play somebody shit like Fener, Celtic etc.

Only if we fail to reach the CL for more than one season would There's Only One be asked to leave and that isn't going to happen in the average PL, unless a 4th club gets bought up by a wealthy businessman who goes on a City style spend up. Until then we'll keep scraping past the Spuds and the Mickeys and 'living the dream'. Of course, consistently selling out a 60,000 capacity stadium at £50+, and all the corporate hospitality packages helps enormously so anyone moaning about the club but happy to spend thousands on it will continue getting more of the same

Wenger's new contract will come once the window has closed, our CL place is confirmed and the usual mini unbeaten run follows which will see us up to somewhere around 4th occurs

This won't be his last season and I'm happy to have a wager with anyone here

And before JD or KiWUMya suggest I seem pissed off about us winning....far from it. Always pleased with the win.....just an inevitable, wholly predictable part of the sequence in our season. A little mini run will follow in the league and we'll get no points from the visits to Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford. We'll qualify from the Group, go out in the last 16th, get to the League Cup quarter finals, the FA Cup 5th round and finish 4th

Your sarcasm is so refreshing. So clever. So witty. Please continue. It's not like we are all pissed off and that all we need is a fellow gooner rubbing it in. It just makes things so much more tolerable. Please continue with the sarcasm on every post, in every thread. It really brightens my day after being faced with constant depressing transfer stories.
By the way 'shit for brains' they are the same predictions I made before the season started.....I think you might find when the real gloomers were saying that we'd never beat Fenerbahce, I stuck the old neck out and said we'd get through and always maintained we'd finish 4th

How about a little tip from you eh? Or would you rather just do the "I had the last laugh" Alan Partridge routine if someone else gets a prediction wrong. Can I ask - have you ever actually posted anything even worthy of comment or do you just take the contrary view on everything? Zzzzzzzzzz........zzzzzzz...........zzzzzzzz.........
You think your posts are so insightful and visionary but all you do is repeat the same shite over and over again that a hundred posters before you have already said and we all already now. Oh my god, steveo35 said Higuain and Rooney aren't coming to Arsenal, such a revolutionary comment. No shit, we all (other than 1989) could have told you that.

steveo formula for posting:
[insert sarcastic comment about us buying a player we never would have anyway]
[insert comment about there being only one arsene wenger]
[insert numerous barscarf emoticons to stress how unhappy you are]
sit back, feeling good about yourself for posting the same post for the 10th time (surely people will laugh this time?)
press post, wait 2 pages, type out same shit again.

A very good win. Thought we'd lose 2-1 and scrape the 1-0 at home tbh. But we played well and credit where credit is due Ramsey was good. Not great, because he still misfires too many passes when under no pressure and still tries too many stupid backheels and flicks. But he has improved a lot in the latter half of last season and has looked better this season. TBH I still don't think he is good enough but I'd love him to prove me wrong.

Cazorla is a class above everyone else at the club. If he had 3 or 4 other top class footballers beside him you could build the team and the sytem around him.

We scored a couple of good goals and never looked in trouble but we have to be honest here and say that the Turks were absolute shite. Every pundit and commentator seemed shocked by how poor they were. So while it's a great result for us, it's not the new dawn of a great new Arsenal team. We are still in the same shit we were in before this game, needing 5 top class new signings and a new manager.

Also great to see their mong fans and their "frightening   atmosphere" evaporate out the door at 3-0! Arseholes.

I find it a bit odd to hear Gibbs dedicating the 1st leg victory in Turkey to Arsene Wenger, how touching.
I always thought dedicating trophy wins to certain coaches was the normal way of doing it.
It actually highlights a big problem at the club, which will only be solved when Wenger bids farewell.
His relationship with the players, even more so with those that came through the system, is too matey, too much like a favourite uncle. Hence when they perform badly its always everything else, injuries, bad officiating, bad luck, jaded, handbrakes, and the rest. He rarely says we were deservedly beaten.
If Gibbs has a nightmare first half at Fulham can we expect Wenger to be ruthless and hook him at half time? of course not, he will put a friendly arm around him, tell him not to worry, no harsh words in case it hurts his feelings.

Gibbs is the worst crosser of a football I have ever seen since I started watching football in the early 1970's. True story. :(
