Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I still think we'd have gone up there and given the same performance and had the same result

Didn't we also play them 3 days after Dortmund away? Not really an excuse but kind of a good excuse. 8)

United's record against the other top-nine clubs - played 10, won one
Anyone know who that solitary victory was against?

Doesn't matter who they had up front, absolutely zero excuse for the way we pitched up there and stayed in our shell for the whole game. We actually defended pretty well but we were a complete disgrace the way we were so negative - especially considering how we've set up there so open in the past. We were playing for a 0-0 and didn't actually change anything when we went 1-0 down.

The same team that managed no shots at all when they went to the Nou Camp ?

The same team that shipped six at City this year, eight at United a couple of years ago, four in one half at Newcastle?

Don't worry though it won't happen again. He never makes the same mistakes twice

No just different ones each time, each just as embarrassing as the ones before

Think we really need to beat this lot in February and to get at least a point at Anfield if we want to be in with a shout

If he can't manage a victory against them this season he probably never will again - regardless of whether Judas and the granny shagger are playing or not

Would be stop going on about not beating them! We're 14 points ahead of them, that's the better thing to focus on.

Got to love Paddy power's marketing department, they certainly know how to get good publicity but this is hilarious

And we were 8 points ahead of them last time we played them and put in a disgracefully limp-dicked performance. We haven't had the same kind of hoodoo at home to them where we've had a bit of a mixed bag of a record over the last decade or so I think we will get a result but until we stop bottling it against the big teams it's a perfectly legitimate gripe to have.

We're 14 points above them. :D

Wonder if JVP agrees with the direction in which they're heading?

Desperate wankers trying to unsettle Mannone before the second leg with talk of wanting to sign him, thankfully he's having none of it, not interested http://m.shieldsgazette.com/sport/footb ... -1-6383081 Nice early start on the piss tomorrow, 9000 going to old Trafford, we'll probably get beasties like but it'll be a good day out anyway and with Vito still in inspired form you never know

Good luck mate really hope you turn them over. Your chances are pretty decent with no vidic/Rooney/Judas.

I predict 2-2 and you off to wembley. :barscarf:
