And real Madrid packed ozil's suitcases, hired a taxi and threw ozil forcibly onto the plane so how does that fcuk up your anti cesc argument ?

Rewriting history are we? Ozil decided he wanted out after they told him very late in the window that his place in the team wasn't certain anymore due to Bale's arrival. Just look at the reaction of Real Madrid players and fans to realize he was an extremely popular and valuable player for them.
Cesc is actively being whored out to any *word censored* who will have him. Barca fans hate his guts.
That is utter utter bullshit - ozil wanted to stay but real madrid pushed him out the door cos they needed money and he was viewed as expendable. Yes ozil was popular with the madrid fans and players, but alex ding dong was popular here with the players (and many fans as well

) but it doesnt necessarily mean anything (although I do agree that song isnt near ozil's class). Real madrid behave like a big club - they have never allowed themselves to be pushed around so if ozil was as valuable as you seem to think he was, then he would still be there cos they will not be forced into selling a player that is under contract.
Jesus Christ 1989, I know that in the last few months your statements have gotten wildly OTT when assessing players, but your memory of ozil's departure is so far away from the reality of what happened that you would think you are living in a parrallel universe

I like ozil and do rate him as world class but I am not convinced that he is suitable to the more physical english league. Likewise I like vela but I would be amazed if he was a success at AFC second time around and even though £3.5m is a pittance, spending it cos the guy is cheap would be ridiculous imo. Comparing either player to cesc who has proven to be world class in this league is folly really
