We should offer that lot of jumped-up c*nts in a swap deal.remigardeshair wrote:Re-signing Vela would be a bad idea purely because it would give the Away Boyz an excuse to write some more songs about him.

Re: Alexis Sanchez
Vaguely remember that Jeffers goal. Was it quite late on only for us to be pegged back to 1-1 at the death?MK Gould wrote:Only tenuously relevant to this thread (but that never seems to bother anyone else!!), but mention of Jeffers reminded me that my kids all had memorable things happen in their first games:
- Daughter: Rosicky scored against us at Highbury!
- Eldest son: Jeffers scored v Bolton!
- Younger son: Fabregas made his debut!

My head says Vela will be a bargain. My heart say "really? That lite-weight?"

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
seems like Wenger would prefer us to buy him back (on the cheap) then sell him on for £12-15m ?

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Those of you who think signing Vela is not a gamble just because he'll work out pretty cheap - it is. If we sign him there is no way we'll sign another striker.
Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
I'm going to have a nervous breakdown if Giroud is our main striker for another season with Carlos 'Mr Lightweight' Vela as backup.

All that picture says to me is that one team knows how to negotiate a fantastic deal for the sale of its best player, whilst another couldn't negotiate a five pence discount in a flea market1989 wrote:

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
But at least we managed to flog Song on for decent money. Though sad to see Nasri go 20+million wasnt too bad for him really either, especially as hes failed to make the French squad brimming with talent for this year again.

Caught offside, the star and IBT( a business website wtf do they know) are all full of sh*te, add Bleacher to that list.Theoperator wrote:Too late hes gone to The Mousers for 60m

I can see Maureen going for a super strike force of Cavani and Costa.
Cavani will have the very best 'winners' looking for his signature neither us nor the mousers fit that category at the moment. He made the mistake of moving just for money before, now he'll want a proper Euro powerhouse....Bayern,Barca,Real even Manure and the chavs. We would be low down on the list and I reckon the scousers would be lower.
