Olympiakos at home.

What professional team gets into this configuration 59 secs after scoring a goal.

"I don't think they got chance to go gung ho after it went 2-2. I was just typing the Alexis Sanchez baby song when they scored"

Exactly! Hoddle and Rio says at the re-start after 2:2.

Listern to what he said: "Walcott went steaming in"..instead of taking care of 'game management'.

Looks like he's lining us up for 3rd and run of Thursday night, Sunday afternoon matches. As for last night only watched 2nd half, don't see what ospina did wrong for their third? And saw their keeper make save after save. What's the point of finishing second only to go out in first round of knock out matches. Might as well finish 3rd and get to Europa league final because that's our level.
We won't even get that, we will lose twice to Bayen and not win at Olympiakos and be bottom of the league.

There was not one player in a red shirt to the right of that circle and towards the byeline. Their player picked up the ball without challenge and drilled it low into the box. Totally unacceptable. :banghead: :banghead:

Last night's result didn't piss me off too much, as the CL only exists in order to line the pockets of Stan and co, and any chance of winning it goes out the window after every embarrassing transfer window we endure. My issue last night was with Wenger's press conference after the game. Firstly to say he doesn't have to explain himself to the media also means he is not interested in giving the fans any information about the team, and his sarcastic comment about not doing polls in order to see who should start, shows a sneery wanker who is continuously happy to talk down to the fans. I despise him, and hope a fan jumps on to the pitch on Sunday and decks him. FUCK OFF out of my club.

Forget the 18 years without learning a thing, didn't this inept fuckwit learn anything from his Monaco horror show last year? Apparently not, if you watch that winning goal again...

Ahh yes, the Arsenal "learning" experience. The one that we went through after we lost 5-1 at Anfield which was an accident only to see us whipped by six at the Bridge and get royally stuffed at Everton within weeks.

The learning experience from last year's complacency against Monaco....with our next two European games being Zagreb and Olympiacos where the same lazy, rank bad attitude was on display

Or was it the learning experience from the disasterous starts of 2011 and 2013, that then saw us get rolled over by the Shammers 0-2 on the opening day this year which has set the tone that has followed

We retain as much from these 'learnings' as a goldfish does after one lap of its bowl

That picture should be shown to anyone that still thinks Wenger is a half competent football manager. It shows a bunch of pampered millionaires operating inside a massive comfort zone.

What an abject failure Wenger is now and has been for more than a decade :banghead: :banghead:

Sounds like these nasty opposition sides have been doing their homework; someone should tell them that this sort of planning is simply not on. Finnbogason (scored the third) said:

“The first corner is something we practise on the training pitch because we know they have no man on the edge of the box.”

“When you play against this team you know they’re going to have a lot of the ball. You have to defend well, have the lines tight and use your time when you have spaces. And you know you’re going to have spaces because they don’t want to defend. So our plan worked.”

How can we compete if our 'tactics' can be studied?

To have our tactics studied would suggest we have tactics. But if a player from Olympiakos can talk about something our manager hasn't seen in ten years what hope have we?

Why... that's... that's just unfair!!

That's borderline cheating for me!! Dirty foreign footballers and their planning and stuff! Fuckers. :x

From transfer tavern,

Last 50 years in England, Olympiakos 3 goals

Last 50 mins against Arsenal, Olympiakos score 3 Goals
