giroud spent most of the game diving about like a fucking fairy. he's fucking embarassing, i never like to see that in an arsenal shirt, whether it was eboue, rvp or someone else. he's doing it more and more as well, is that how he responds to frustration? i'd rather see him kick out like ozil did

I agree, but I'd also say that Dixon did far more for Wenger than Wenger did for Dixon.wilko49er wrote:He is understandinly loyal. With two league titles, an FA Cup win, a League Cup win, and a ECWC medal under his belt, Dixon was already on his way to being an all-time Arsenal great by the time Wenger decided to create the club (!) in 1996 - but without Graham's back four, of which Dixon was a huge part, it's questionable as to whether AW would've had that early success.
I can see why the likes of Henry, Vieira and Fabregas might defend AW - but for someone like Dixon, who was already a success before he'd ever heard of Wenger, I could understand that he'd be a little less defensive of him.

I am so depressed about everything to do with the club right now. It won't end when he eventually does retire. His ghost will lurk around the souless bowl for eternity. Everything we may ever achieve in the future, will be painted as all down to Wenger's 'genius'.
After nearly 32 years, I think I'm done.
As a 20 year old gooner this deeply saddens me that hardened Gooners like yourself are at the point of turning your back on the club we all fell in love with over one horrible little French man.
So fucking depressed.

Its really sad that its come to this and almost unthinkable when you think of the heady days of 15 years ago, but he's brought it on himself. Every Arsenal fan in the world was absolutely begging for a couple of decent signings last summer to strengthen key positions - near the top of the list being centre forward and he did absolutely nothing, claiming the players werent there despite every other single first divison team in Europe finding an outfield player. It's actually downright bizarre when you think about it, what's going through his head? Does he on some strange unconscious level want to get sacked?

The problem wenger is like fergie in regards too tenure. He is respected for being the longest serving manager now. Wenger milks that. He Has never been an idiot, very shrewd and knows how to play the press etc. But his arrogance knows no bounds when he is attacked. Nice apology

History has many examples of the perpetrators portraying themselves as victims and the masses buying it.cameron326 wrote:He goes from sneering know it all to "poor little me cant win every trophy every season" in the blink of an eye. Hes got it down to an art.

I still love Wenger in the guise of an Arsenal legend. I just can't stand this version 15 years on who seems like an excuse making impostor. I dont want a 40 year old Bergkamp up front for us, nor do I want a 50 year old David Seaman between the sticks. Those guys knew when to quit and their legend grew because of it. Stop shitting on your legacy AW. You were not a 4th placer, you were a winner, but those days are gone.
Today was truly a sad day for Arsenal Football Club but it is not the fans to blame. It's Kroenke and the Dictator formerly known as AW. You have to fear the worse for next season. He's not going to turn things around and its going to be an ugly parting when it finally comes.

After the match AW complained that the team was too one-paced in the first half, which is why he brought on Welbeck.
You started with Giroud, you cretin, what did you fucking expect??
We played one hour of football, at home, against a side that'll be relegated without a shot on target. Embarrassing!

From sky sports twitter page: "Danny Welbeck strike silences the protesters".
So that's it, anyone who protested today was proven wrong, because we beat relegation certainties 1-0, in another shit performance. Sky are a bunch of wankers, they know the reason the fans were protesting, but intentionally miss the point.

We'll lose to Man City, that is a fucking nailed on certainty. Win the possession stats though... and corners.... and expected goals. But not shots on goal... if that makes senseRosie_titters wrote:Hey 2 points behind Tottenham and with Chelsea and Newcastle to play. St Totts day might still happen![]()

Welbz will be dropped for next match for screwing up the expected goals total and putting the trophy in jeopardyxisstential wrote:We'll lose to Man City, that is a fucking nailed on certainty.
