THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Reached two league cup finals? No mention then of the two losses; one where Wenger's ego saw him put out a team of kids & second stringers, then the second where we played like rabbits in the headlights, losing to a team that would be relegated.

Only in the deluded world of the AKB would 85% of those "achievements" be something to crow about...

What these extreme AKBs don't seem to grasp (or even comment on) is that it is not where we've been, or even where we are; it's our direction of travel, and we've been sliding backwards (compared with other teams and our previous standards) for years.
What signs do they see of AW leading us out of current predicament?

One of the things that has worked in Wenger's favour over the past few years has been our ability to edge Spurs out of 4th place. Honestly, if it was any other club (Everton for example) I doubt that the achievement of the virtual trophy would be met as euphorically in certain quarters as it is when its Spurs. We're all guilty to a degree.....I must admit that whilst the CL bores me rigid up until the knockout stages when it then becomes a sorry spectacle for us (unless you enjoy glorious 2nd leg failure)......the fact that we deny them time and time again makes it a more enjoyable experience.

Now lets say Spurs return to their rightful 8th to 12th place, can you honestly say hand on heart that the virtual trophy would mean as much?

I don't know if this has been picked up on yet....Been away for a little while....But Makes My Blood fucking Boil...The arrogance of the deluded wankpot of a spunk bubble french *word censored*... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ns-1791890

Okay first he says he's warned the players (or some of them) that if we don't qualify for CL for next season they face the prospect of being sold...about fucking time I say....

BUT!!!!!!!

Who is at the top of the *word censored* (possible sale) list:

Podolski and Sagna...

Okay so Sagna has had a severe drift from the great form he showed.....but could well be to do with injuries (two legbone breaks) and the lack of defensive coaching...and Pods - who is our best striker by far - has been played sparingly...and then out on the left wing (where he appears for germany agreed - but they have a PROPER Manager!)

He (Wenker) is the *word censored* who bought all the p[layers...squillaci, diaby, arshavin, Bendtner ....and they have all proved ineffective under this his (mis) guidance...so it ain't the players - Pods and Sagna - you *word censored* it's YOU

Why the fuck don't you just fucking, FUCK OFF!

Oh dear, Bard - why do it to yourself, mate?? Is it a weird form of self harm that you're into?

You do realise that you're basically saying you're agreeing with the comments Wenger DID make but your blood is boiling about the bollocks that he didn't say - the tripe The Mirror plucked out of thin air?? :?

Do you really think Wenger told the gutter press that Podolski and Sagna are top of his possible sale list?? - no, neither do I. It's tabloid fishing, and not only have you fallen for it hook, line and sinker, but it's made your blood boil with anger in the process! :o :? - it's just not worth the energy, mate
