Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they have rejected a 35 million Euro offer from Arsenal for Mario Goetze. Ooooh but I forgot:

THE BOARD REFUSE TO BACK ARSENE IN THE MARKET! WE HAVE NO MONEY!

Funny how such a cash-strapped club can suddenly find so much cash available eh?

Just a thought!

It was a game that we were always going to lose anyway - so to lose so heavily was probably the best thing that could have happened to us.....
Either that or maybe he's not even the one doing the spending. Perhaps the club are forcing these deals through now. Unlikely imo, but no weirder than Arsene suddenly turning trigger-happy on the old credit card.

"In my opinion this is a great club, now I have to show what I can do on the pitch. I will do my best, I will never give up, I will show heart, I will give everything and I hope [the fans] will support me."

We could have done with him on Sunday...
If his work rate is anything like the other dog eater at the mancs I'll be very happy.
