THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In addition to the compulsory "I luv AW" t-shirts that must be worn I can have some banners with the Portsmouth, Leeds United and Rangers badges on them, so the Wenger luvvies can nod in their direction with a smug look of satisfaction whilst tucking into their Aberdeen Angus.....
Don't forget these beauties!!

Ahhh yes....that special day when the 'real fans' displayed their banner lauding the merits of a manager who had just sold 2 of our best players (having previously said we could not be considered a big club if we took that decision) and subjected us to our worst league defeat in a century (latterly explained away as being down to 'special circumstances')

A complete sell-out of a manager and I couldn't give a flying fuck if we do finish 3rd. He'll repeat the same sorry story again one day when Cazorla and Wilshere will be flogged to the highest bidder just as we're "1 or 2 per cent away from Man United and Chelsea", whilst being rewarded with another long term multi-million pound deal

Really hope he makes me look like a mug second half but so far Everton have tucked us right up with their hard pressing and defensive tactics and you wouldn't bet against them grabbing a goal either on the break or from a knock-down. All Wenger has done is berate the fourth official. Consequently all the team has done has been whinge to the ref.

was in my local coffee shop this morning and got talking for the first time ever to another regular who turns out to be a gooner too,he said he first went to highbury in 1952 and lived just off the caledonian road as a kid.i said to him 'what do you think of wenker?' expecting him to call him a *word censored* but oh no,turns out he's another brain washed sheep,he came out with the classic akb statements like 'we have no money' 'we can only afford players like gervinho' 'we cant afford big wages' 'who else could do the job wenger does, theres no one to take over' blah blah blah,i tried to set him straight but he poo poo-ed everything i was trying to tell him, seems like there is no hope at all when even ardent life long gooners in their senior years believe the shit that Wenker spouts,to top it off he even said 'Giroud is a good signing' WTF!!!! :banghead:

I met a couple on holiday last year who were exactly the same  they were both longtime gooners in their fifties,i tried to set them along the right path but to no avail :banghead: it was like talking to a brick wall  my mrs overheard them at the pool one day saying "that big scots geezer dont like wenger much does he!" :barscarf: It was the only sensible thing they said all week.
