Tinpot, we were NOT the better team; No fucking way!
We were all over the place at the back, the midfield lacked a spark and we looked toothless up front... only for 5-10mins after we scored, and when we were 3 and 4 goals down did we look half decent.
The right team won, definately!
And yes, I was there... upper tier, with a great view... and it was painful to watch, as we slowed the play down and lacked any cutting edge when it mattered.

I must be fucking blind

Well, fair enough... it's a game of opinions.
I'll tell you what, though... I was gutted at the end of the ManUre game because I thought we played really well and deserved better, however after todays game I didn't feel robbed, or unlucky... I thought we got what we deserved; nothing.

I thought we were better today than we were at United for the 30 minutes. Defensively at United we looked far stronger though.
Tinpot, I don't know what to say... we just disagree.
I don't care about stats... I trust my own eyes, and nothing will change my view on this.
I was disappointed by our performance, and I thought we were woeful in the first half, and although we attacked much better in the second half, the defending was very poor. No top side should concede 3 goals like we did in that second half... and even Wenger admitted the defending wasn't good.
Ah, well.... like I said, it's a game of opinions.

I think it's because i see playing well as creating loadsa chances and not being defensively secure.
I think we deserved to win because we peppered their goal, however our overall performance wasn't great
Sorry i think i've drunk a little too much, apologies
Went to the game, we should have buried them in the 2nd half. After Rosicky scored, we could have had another 3 goals and had we won 5-4 city would not have complained because they know we pissed all over them.
RvP clearly seen calling ade a wanker then shook his hand?? We are simply too soft, and not clinical. How many more beatings can this team take before they get riled into action?
Seeing Rosicky back in action was simply astonishing, shame we're not celebrating his return with a goal
Good to see TR7 back and I hope his fitness is not another temporary thing. I was disappointed with Clichy. Twice when he took the ball past the half-way line he was easily tackled and the City attacks led to two of the goals. Another goal came from his poor attempt to tackle SW-P. It could have been a foul but SW-P got to his feet and carried on so the ref didn't blow.
Well, I must admit I've not been to the game so am reliant on MOTD's piss poor highlights. For once I am going to have to agree with Alan Hansen's comments which hurts me to even type.
We are great going forward with the ball but absolutely dire without it. Cumulatively, our midfield have no interest in getting back to defend with the exception of Song who at least tries and then f*cks it up.
The highlights show numerous times when City were attacking and Denilson/Diaby/Fabregas just gently jogging back instead of trying to get in the mix - at times this was when Vermaelen got caught out of position so we were short at the back.
Teams play against us with 2 banks of 4 pressed closely together and we need to employ something similar to make it difficult for teams attacking us.
I don't think we can blame Almunia for the goals today as the defensive frailties just left him alone (Still doesn't make him good enough for a title winning side though)
We have seriously missed Rosicky's class but all this attacking talent is irrelevant if we don't learn to defend as a team (not just 4 players)
Diaby - Useless at defending and runs around like a headless chicken when going forward. At times when he had the ball our pass and move tactic just completely stopped - I don't think our players knew where to move to help him as I don't think he knew where to go himself and he gives up the ball way too often. When we are at our best, we play good fast one touch football, so why doesn't Diaby - If he doesn't fit the structure why are we playing him (surely Wilshere becomes a better option here)
Denilson - Getting worse. So much talent at times, but why only 15 minutes a game?
Clichy/Sagna - If they can't cross a ball, why do we persevere with them doing this? Not sure which players are going to head it when it gets in the box anyway?
When we have everyone fully fit we will be a good side (if they get played) but we are overly reliant on our first XI and they rarely play together.

Sweary I have already said this on a previous page but clichy did not have possession and lose the ball for their 2nd goal. Watch that goal again and you will see cesc in possession in midfield but under pressure and nowhere to go he just passes the ball out to the left wing where he would have expected one of his team-mates to be. Clichy bust a gut trying to make up the ground to make a bad pass look good and he and lescott challenged for possession the ball broke to one of theirs who passed it to swp who went pass song as if he wasnt there (the guy cannot fcuking tackle ) and the rest was history Do I blame cesc for losing possession in a bad area of the pitch ? No I dont but nor do I blame a guy that has ran 30 yards trying to get a the pass and retain possession for his team at a time when we were on top. Sometimes clichy gets unfairly nailed by the fans in my book and it is all since that brum game away
Clichy clearly got caught in possesion for one goal and for another needlessly went to ground allowing the player to skip past him.
I have never understood why Clichy is adored so much but if I had to guess why it is simply because he took over from Cashley.
His many mistakes are glossed over at will. Take the Birmingham debacle. Everyone remembers, and blames, Galla's petulant spat and also Greedt not squaring the ball to Bendtner for a tap in but most conveiniently forget the monumental fuck up from Gael that handed the draw on a plate to Birmingham.
As we are now a selling club the first assett I would see would be Clichy as we have a more than able replacement in Gibbs and Clichy's fee would far outweigh his ability.

In the big game's Gibbs played in, and lets be brutally honest here, against ManUre and Liverfool, young Gibbs was very badly exposed - he is well liked amonst fans and both he and Clichy are forgiven easier than most Players for that reason. In fact, I'd rather Traore than Gibbs. That's no reflection on Gibbs, as he can be a great player in the future but I thought he was like a rabbit in headlights tbh
