LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD
Shocking display, but this has become the norm now. We're far from a title winning team. If we finish in the top 4 come season's end, we'd have done very well judging by this non-performance.
Good thing the victims are about as useless as us, because believe me, if this was Chelsea ManU Citeh or even Spurs we'd have been on the receiving end of an absolute mullering.

You get out what you put in and we deserve nothing from this game. Against 10 men and it looked like we had 9 WTF!.
For those who went on about Wilshere most start, I think its clear we should not rush him as his laps in concentration gave Liverpool the chance to score. Ramsey made mistakes like that but atleast it was against lesser opposition.
As I said before, I can't defend Arsehavin as he has goot a full pre-season and a long summer rest, Diaby clearly isn't a year more experienced as he is still doing the shit and as for Almunia there is nothing he would do that would shock me.
Sept 1st - Transfer deadline day.

You reckon? I've been really negative about us this summer, but can definitely recognise that we certainly didn't deserve to lose this game. We bossed the first half with 60% possesion (despite minimal chances), and the goal was very much against the run of play. Did Liverpool have more than once chance after their goal? I think we very much deserved the point.GunnerDude wrote:You get out what you put in and we deserve nothing from this game. Against 10 men and it looked like we had 9 WTF!.

Will hit the blog with extended thoughts, but briefly
Chamakh: Credit for getting tough and earning that late equaliser
Walcott: Immature decision making, still far from where he needs to be
Nasri: A real leader, perhaps over dribbled at times, but didn't rush decisions, played the Fabregas type role well
Almunia: If there was any doubt he needs to go, he cemented it today. Flapping at crosses, beat short side, very unconfident performance
Sagna/Clichy: Terrible crosses
Koscielny: Good debut, not outstanding, red card was a little unnecessary but also a little unlucky. Hugely relieved he came back.

I fucking hate Almunia, but don't think he was necessarily responsible for the goal today.
