It would be entirely possible to construct an argument that says we didnt deserve to lose- mainly because man yoo didnt deserve to win it but frankly im sick of making excuses for these games. The stats speak for themselves, we arent good enough.
Well well we we agree on this - United looked rather crap themselves really - as genuinely bad as I can remember from this - not just tonight but all year - really back as har the birth of the Premiership. Yes they have had far poorer mathces - which they lost usually - against us and yes they have had some bad stretches for a few matches but this United side bar one performance doesn't look at all better than us bar at the back.

Again though its largely a case of you get what you pay for and that was the difference once again.

Pleased for Sczezny though - early doors but looked pretty much like he belonged out there which is saying something and came through big when he had to. Maybe we can move some momney from buying a new keeper and address other equally pressing needs we wouldn't otherwise?

When the ref gave them the pen Clichy hardly reacted even though it was harsh he just accepted the decision and walked off. Do these *word censored* have no passion AT ALL?

Yeah, I know.....probably 3 years! :banghead:

Arshavin had a good opening 25 minutes and was shite after that until subbed with 15-20mins to go
Nasri showed maybe 5mins of football in 90+mins on the pitch
Rosicky total shite
Song worse that total shite
sagna and clichy see song
But yet here we all are picking out arshavin yet again as the cause of all our woe's

stick yer haed back in the sand ****'y and while you there, tell wenger to fucking sort it out.

We were not unlucky. man u got players in the box when potentially the ball goes there - hence Park (as fucking usual) scores against us.

they also fought for the ball, and showed tenacity - something we haven;t got the first fucking clue about. It's called building a team, and having balance - something wenger has totally lost sight of.

We all know how long it can and will go on - and maybe if we let the people in charge of that know how we feel maybe something might happen - but again until those people actaully want things to change it wouldn't matter anyway. Pretending otherwise is not going to make it better.

Must admit, I was surprised that Arsenal didn't give United more of a game. In the first few minutes United got a fair few free kicks and i was thinking "at least Arsenal are prepared to get stuck in today", but then they stopped. Clichy put in one of the worst left back performances that I have seen in a long time, Nasri was invisible all game (although to be fair to the lad he has been top class a fair few times recently so you'd expect someone else would be able to take over when he has an odd off day), Rosicky who I think is a great little player looked clumsy and uninterested, Song frustrated the hell out of me by never making himself available for the ball (often Arsenal had it between the half way line and uniteds box with no real option, Song should have asked for it as he would have freed up the man in possession and would have had a better angle to supply a pass), and Chamakh seems to have very little heart meaning that whilst he is a target, he isnt up to much if he actually needs to run for the ball

If I was a gooner, however, the sloppiness and poor decision making wouldn't worry me half as much as the apparent disinterest of nearly every player out there. After the initial flurry of challenges there were very few players who could honestly hold their hands up and say "I gave my all". Being top of the league should have been enough to fire them right up, to think "we havent been great this season but look where we are, come on lads lets fucking kick on and grab this fairly poor league by the fucking balls". There was none of that, not even from Fabregas when he came on and once again looked as if his heart, if not his head, was in Barcelona. And Walcott is not a fucking winger- the lad cant pass and cant cross- what he does have is a great turn of pace, quick feet and is a decent finisher, I hate this idea that if a lad is quick he should automatically be made a winger.

Was really frustrating watching that and I was a relative neutral. For me a lot of the blame has to lie with Wenger- his players don't seem to be responding to him and he had absolutely no plan b when plan a wasnt working. In fact, there was barely a plan a- get the ball, knock it about a bit and see what happens seemed to be the master plan. Trouble is, the league is so weak that Arsenal will comfortably stay 3rd or there abouts most of the season, so there wont be any pressure put on Wenger, but I think it is about time he seriously started looking at himself. If not with a view to resigning, at least with a view to ditching this "perfect football" project of his, and getting in some combative, nasty bastards who can get the job done in games like these
