As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I liked Johnson's quote, something along the lines of "I think i'd pulled my calf but there was no way I was coming off...". Can you imagine our lot saying that?! Wtf was up with Van Persie anyway? That's his season over I guess?!

Kos and Szceszney will be fine they will learn and grow from this - that is how it is. You saw Szeszscny doing that even straight away.
But it does illustrate the idea of ther first team as a youth or bargain development program is dooned to fail. That was nothing but pure inexperience from both lads in a huge situation. I thought they both had decent enough overall games. But can you imagine Adams and Seaman making that mess between them in that situation in 1998, or Seaman and Campbell in 2002 or Lehmann and Campbell in 2004?
Like I'll say they'll grow from this but that doesn't change the fact that they probably wouldn't have been near that pitch today if we had a different agenda off the pitch.
Just got back home from work to hear the result
Am I angry? nope, its almost to be expected these days. when it matters we fail to take advantage.
I hear Arsene played Nasri out wide and Tomas throught the middle. To my mind thats not very smart considering Nasri has been our best player and Tomas has failed to produce a decent performance to warrent a start, let alone be the creative force in the middle.
Oh well, onward and upwards or will it be downhill. Where to now Arsenal?
