My mate is an actual doctor and I asked him about this. He emailed the following back;

"if true that they were given shots on Sat then that’s just stupid as you can get some flu-like symptoms for 24 hours. Having said that it’s not very common but it’s also not predictable (I’ve had only one report this season from our patients out of about 150 but no doubt there would have been more cases)."

Either way, it was still a very bad decision to give the jab. If it was given... :|

That's how I understood it as well, some people have adverse reactions to flu jabs and vaccine jabs in general.

Just passing it on lads, don't shoot the messenger.
Lads I'm trying to educate you here, listen up, I ain't repeating it for a 3rd time, the virus is NOT live in the vaccine so cannot, I REPEAT cannot give you the virus :roll:

You made me repeat it a 3rd time :? :lol:

Hardly the end of the world though is it. Yes they're shite but 8 days ago we were facing three massive games in 8 days and most of us thought we'd come away with feck all from them. As it is 2 wins out of 3 is not a bad return.

I would have loved to win this one to break our bad run up there but we have at least shown that we can compete at a high level. If we are brave enough to make 1 or 2 signings in January we could still be in the running in May.

Essentially, if anyone had told me back in August that we would be top of the league at the November international break.......I'd had laughed at them. I'm therefore quite happy with my lot right now."

Come on Spuddy - what's the point of me ignoring your post on page 19 if you're only going to repeat it again on page 27?!! :banghead: :banghead: :roll: :wink: :lol: :lol: :wink:

Question: How many more games are we going to allow Ozil to go missing before we acknowledge he isn't worth 42m?

he's still finding his feet,remember Bergkamp was very average for a while until he got used to the EPL.The Real fans weren't crying for nothing when he was sold,he is one of the top 10 players in the world,sunday was Wenkers fault the whole team looked shit even our main man Rambo was dire,Ozil had no support at all,to say he aint worth the 42m is crazy when there is so much more to come from him

And I think everyone else on here would have taken our position now at the start of the season. It wasn't a disaster in terms of the league table to lose the game because we still have a buffer and City + Chelsea dropped points in far easier fixtures.

But it was the all too familiar manner of defeat, moronic tactics and complete failure to turn up that were the bigger problem than losing the game. Shows that when push comes to shove this group of players under this manager still have a massive complex about these sorts of games, and until they shed that we ain't gonna win shit.

Its a good idea to give them but even a sore arms no good just pre match :cussing:
AW probably bought an out of date batch as a job lot!

Del boy has a new three wheeler so it must be true!
