The FA Cup Final: The Arsenal v A.Villa

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Dreading this game, my brother in law would dine out for the rest of his life and the afterlife on them winning the cup. :banghead:

So off I travel to Birmingham for "the wedding of the year" on cup final day - where pretty much all of the guests are Villa fans.

Was on the stag up there last week, wasn't thinking and pulled into Birmingham new street as Thousands of Villa fans were getting ready for their game in my Arsenal polo. The abuse!!! It wasn't even good natured and popping to the bookies before the games kicked off some geezer kindly told me "he hoped Eduardo never walked again". Make no mistake there is a lot of classless scum bags n the Brummie support.

Apparently there is a screen going up for the second half, but many are planning to leave the meal to see the whole game!!

As a sole gooner I was going to maintain some decorum....although a yellow Ribbon is going on :barscarf:

If it's an Alan Sunderland type situation I'd imagine I'll end up being thrown out

Woke up really grumpy and angry this morning. Had a very realistic dream that we were losing 1-0 at 85 minutes and we were bogged down 20 yards out from their goal, doing our tippy tappy routine, and Wenger took off Giroud and brought on Captain Stupid Flamoney. The sense of hopelessness was tangible. :|

Straight up, I woke up really angry and frustrated. :x

I think the missus thought I'd had some type of mental breakdown during the night!
