I believe he's lost these players... the one's who matter anyway. Not Ramsey, Walcott, Giroud, any of that lot (where they gonna go if he leaves???) but the ones who matter, Campbell (definitely after tonight) Cech, Sanchez, Ozil.... we cannot cope without them playing well. The last month has been proof of that. That other prissy lot will have Wenger's back come hell or high water.

Don't know if TV picked it up but Cech pulled up clutching his hamstring in that final minute.

one thing is for sure this weekend is gonna be very very interesting, got a feeling sunday supplement is gonna be all about Wenker and not for the right reasons,DEAD MAN WALKING (hopefully)

Re: Swansea H Wed 2nd 1945
Was that another penalty we were denied at the end there? Must be approaching 10 already this calendar year, and we're only 2 months in
Re: Swansea H Wed 2nd 1945
Why did the subs have to be like for like? Its clear we were struggling, so when he makes a sub, he takes of our best player in Campbell. He shows no desire or backbone to his own players. He always subs the player on the least money and the smallest name.
Just horrible management.

What an utter bunch of useless ... it appeared in the first half to be one of the simplest fixtures in a long time, how the hell did we end up losing this? And those subs definately enworsed the situation a great deal. Welbeck shouldnt ever have to touch the ball more than once, he's got zero brains for football. While Sanchey did suffer I still think the was no legitimite reason on that bench to take him out. Also wouldnt have chosen Campbell. Giroud and Ramsey on the other hand....

Just realised we're only 4 points ahead of 5th now.
The good news is that should start motivating the players

Giroud, Ramsey and Sanchez have been fucking appalling for weeks on end and they're getting worse. It is sickening that Giroud has been our unchallenged striker for 4 seasons on an outrageous deal, whilst no matter how badly he plays Ramsey is inked in as a starter. Sanchez is trying, he really is, but he has been woeful and a liability. Leaving him on whilst hauling Campbell on sums up Wenger's tactical acumen.
Yet again we gave in after 75 minutes and in a phenomenal show of mental strength couldn't muster a shot in anger. Imagine going to Old Trafford under Ferguson, making 6 changes to essentially write off the game in a relegation dogfight and ending up cruising to a victory. We wouldn't have scored if we'd played for another hour tonight.
I don't know why people were so confident about tonight. Aside from struggling against Swansea since promotion (that's one win in 5 and 4 in 10 against them) because they are well-organised, when it rains with us it absolutely fucking pours. Every season where we're in with a shot come February we panic so much that we can't buy a win against anybody - every fucking time.
You could see it coming - we had no shape and at 1-1 were just bombing forward whilst putting in one of the worst passing displays I've ever seen. On another night we would have won the game having hit the woodwork a few times and their first goal should have been a foul, but it wasn't exactly a huge injustice and we didn't do anywhere near enough.
Any danger of signing a defender who can fucking defend?

We moved to the soulless bowl to get absolutely dicked year in year out by Bayern and Barcelona while crawl pathetically over the line to 4th place year after year after year after year, always ready for another seasons dicking from Bayern and Barcelona.

Wenger has very clear favourites but I gotta say Ramsey is his absolute Golden Boy.
I NEVER believed Wenger would face serious calls to leave but in the past he would have won tonight and then gone on to beat spurs or at least get a draw. He always played a get out of jail card. That has failed him now...another loss on Saturday and there'll be blood on the walls.

To clarify: we have good players, but a manager unable to get the best out of them.

I think the argument about whether the quality of the league this year is "very good" or "very bad" can be put tonight after tonight.
