As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
JOACHIM LOW, the Germany coach, has emerged as a candidate to be Arsenal’s next manager.
Löw is on the list of coaches discussed by Arsenal’s hierarchy as options should Arsène Wenger decide to leave when his contract expires next year.
The hope of Stan Kroenke, Arsenal’s owner, and Ivan Gazidis, the club’s chief executive, is that Wenger has a successful 2013-14 season and chooses to renew his deal, but contingencies are being made given the short time remaining on the Frenchman’s contract and because he turns 65 in October next year and might want to retire or move on.
Löw’s deal with Germany’s football federation expires after next year’s World Cup finals in Brazil and there are signals that the 53-year-old will seek a return to club management.

No shit - Kroenke's model depends upon it as he knows few other managers willing to be a sell-out and consistently mug off the club's supporters by selling its best players year after year and seeing a distant 4th place finish as success
Regardless of whether Wenger goes or stays failure to qualify for Europe will mean that any money we would have spent on players will now Vanish into the ether .
They will then sell Sagna and Podolski to fund any incomings and we will rummage around in the oddbins opf european footbal for young wines with no proven Vintage !

I think we will continue spending money on shite players even if we qualifying for CL every season. I can't see wenger buying quality players and build a title winning team

Fergie tonight on RVP: “Arsène said to me when we concluded the deal [last summer], 'He's a better player than you think'”
WENGER OUT.
Absolutely disgusting He used to go head to head with Fergie, now he just rolls over and gets his belly tickled no way should he be manager of our football club
Van persie - yes mentioning his name here. But we all know he blew his chances of being an Arsenal legend.
However, i feel we need to get on Arsene's back this weekend - NOT van persie. He was telling us AW is not the right man for us anymore. Why? sooooo many reasons but look at this analysis - as i believe he (WENGER) let the mancs buy van persie that 'gave' them the title. I'm not saying we would have won it with him this season, but we may aswell have held onto him and let him go for nothing!:-
25.8.12 Mancs v Fulham (3 pts instead of 1 courtesy of van persie’s equaliser, when 0-1) worth +2
2.9.12 Soton v mancs (v persie all 3 goals gives a win – without his, they may have lost!) worth +3
23.9.12 Liverp v mancs (v persie’s goal diff between a draw and them winning again) worth +2
28.10.12 chelski v mancs (again v persie diff between draw and getting them a win) worth +2
3.11.12 mancs v ARSENAL (his early goal prob won them the game, despite Jacks red) worth +2
28.11.12 mancs v hammers (only goal by van persie – obv diff here) worth +2
1.12.12 reading v mancs (without his winning goal might have been a draw) worth +2
9.12.12 citeh v mancs (tells them why he chose mancs with the winning last min goal) worth +2
26.12.12 mancs v geordies (without his goal may have been a draw) worth +2
13.1.13 mancs v liverp (his goal may have earned a win instead of a draw) worth +2
20.1.13 spuds v mancs (a draw earned with his goal) worth +1
17.4.13 hammers v mancs (his goal securing a draw) worth +1
22.4.13 mancs v villa (his hatrick the diff between the sides) worth +3
so that's 26 points he was worth to them! thanks Arsene
As i say i do not believ van persie will be smug when at our on sunday - and because of this we should treat him with respect and instead get on the back of the 'real' one who sold us short!
In the politest way possible- If your still a Wenger lover, You are a c*nt.
How could that Cretin just go on and sell our best player to Man Utd, They're not our biggest rivals right now , but fans still hate to see them win the league!
I HATE HIM, That quote says it all, He must go, He's a selfish F*cktard who cannot even run a club anymore without being a selfish prick and thinking about himself and his money. I wanna punch that stupid moron in the mouth. Ruining our club and. Not caring about us fans.

I completely agree that selling RvP to united should never have been an option for our club. We should have sold him for less abroad or held him to his final year and made a real push for the league and try to convince him to stay through showing some ambition.
