As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
"Sanogo has not made headlines," Wenger added. "Why? Because he is not £50m-£100m but I am quite confident he will make them soon on the pitch and that, for me, is the most important. The quality of the player is not only linked to the amount of money it costs. Sanogo will surprise you. He is a top-class striker."
Hmmm ... is this faith in Sanogo coming from the same man who told us he didn't need to replace Adebayor because he had a Robbie Fowler type striker called Carlos Vela?
If Wenger said it was white wine, I'd give it a sniff first.

I actually love this guy. He has sent RAWK into meltdown yet again with angry scousers claiming the BBC and "Arsenal's mouthpiece" ( ) David Ornstein have made it up to make sure it overshadows Gerrard's testimonial match.

If this is true, why is Suarez so desperate to leave Liverpool? I want him at Arsenal but his desperation is strange. Does he believe he can win trophies with us or does he just want to use us as a stepping stone? Anyway I don't see the latter as a problem, we can get two good seasons out of him and then sell him on.
Exactly , if we get two good seasons out of him we will no doubt sell him for more.
I read earlier that Gerrard turned down Bayern last season, what a mug !!!!!! Still was probably leaned on by the scouse mafia again as apparently he was when he nearly went to chelski

Gervinho we are at the moment close to an agreement with a club where he should go. Bendtner we are nowhere. At the moment he is completely here. Chamakh might go somewhere, it will be decided in the next 48 hours. [They are] permanent moves.
Dead wood going...shame Bendtner is not..anybody in...or young guns blazing?

Bendtner was actually a good footballer, but unfortunately another youngster with too much money.
Football will never be the same again, you can't educate a youngster who's a millionaire
When I was a youngster, I used to worry about us getting relegated, oh how times have changed.
Arsenal till I die though

Always makes me laugh the term ''deadwood'' .... deadwood, all created by Mr Knows... and now 4,5 and even 6 years down the line we're still suffering by Mr Know's misplaced faith.... yep.... Mr... Knows.... Where's the rolling eyes with wanker sign....
Pity that the financial effect of replacing the deadwood has been swallowed up by Feo's bumper deal, yet another baffling new deal for Ramsey and utterly needless new deals for Jenkinson and Chamberlain that undoubtedly gave them both a wage hike.
We've also added Sanogo (chances of him contributing this season???) to the wage bill and as of yet haven't offloaded Bendtner or Chamakh, who were loaned out last season.
Glad to see so much shit leaving the club but don't for a minute expect our wage bill to decrease. Although Arsene has acknowledged some mistakes he'll still stand by his philosophy.
I'm interested to hear Lord Wenger's reasons for getting rid of Gervinho. I thought when we signed him he told us all that he was a player of "super quality"?
