Chants Would Be A Fine Thing

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And one taking the piss out of their 'anthem':

Oh shit-ty Spurs
Are go-ing down
Oh shit-ty Spurs are go-ing down
We're gonna laugh in large numbers
Because the Spurs are go-ing down

Like they do, start off really slowly then speed it up. Maybe we can get it going in time for their visit?

Just in case anyone missed it (and it looks like many have) the 'and Leicester' has nothing to do with our games against Sheff Wed in '79. It's also not unique to us, although we were the first.

IT'S BECAUSE AS YOU TRAVEL UP THE M1 YOU'LL FIND A SIGN THAT SAYS

TO THE NORTH AND LEICESTER

This has been discussed on othe forums and is accepted as the true reason. It makes sense when you sing the whole song about travelling over land and sea. Hope that clears it up.

Another attempt to get one for Sagna to the tune of Bob Marley's Buffalo Solider

His name is Bacary Sagna - Dreadlocked Gooner

In response to the Man Utd 'Anderson' tune:

And-er-son, son, son
Is he really from Brazil?
And-er-son, son, son
What a waste of 18 mill,
Can't play left, can't play right
And he can't pick out-out a pass,
Only wankers believe
He's as good as Fab-re-gas!!

Theo Walcott's magic! He wears a magic hat! And when he saw Ashburton, he said 'I'll play in that!
He didn't sign for Chelsea! The Russian rent boy scum!
He signed up for The Arsenal cos we're London's number one! Oooooooooh!

He came to us when Henry went. Eddie Eddie!
And scored more goals than Darren Bent. Eddie! Eddie!
He broke his leg but he'll be back and Darren Bent will still be crap
Eduardo da Silva! Arsenal's number nine!

neither of which were made by me
