Re: Munich away match thread
flare guy was pretty close to where we were, didn't notice him being thrown out
Re: Munich away match thread
I am pretty sure he went after that flare had burnt down - it was fairly close to where I stood as well... Okay then, he was invited by the police to have a cup of tea and he followed their invitation
found this article... mind you - it's in German
Says two Arsenal fans who used flares were turned in by the police...

or was that a different game

Re: Munich away match thread
Pity that the article seems to focus on isolated incidents of trouble caused by Arsenal fans, when I think that in the main the drunken banter was very friendly and atmosphere in the centre of Munich a little raucous maybe but fun rather than threatening.Poldi wrote:I am pretty sure he went after that flare had burnt down - it was fairly close to where I stood as well... Don't worry lads, i'm sure AFC have already spent all of next year's transfer budget on identifying this pyro-wielding hooligan before slapping him with a lifetime ban. Priorities.

Re: Munich away match thread
A disgrace it did indeed - that sort of 'trouble' seems to be more like no trouble at all - you'll find definitely more at any Bundesliga match. It's a tabloid anyway - always in need to exaggerate and to keep up the hooligan image of English fansMK Gould wrote: Pity that the article seems to focus on isolated incidents of trouble caused by Arsenal fans, when I think that in the main the drunken banter was very friendly and atmosphere in the centre of Munich a little raucous maybe but fun rather than threatening.

Re: Munich away match thread
There were some Bayern flares at the Emirates as well.
The atmosphere in the centre of Munich didn't seem very threatening.
