As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Even the bindippers themselves , those with any sense at all , must put it down to how shit everyone else is, and not how good they are.
Imagine if we'd had someone in charge who was able to take advantage of such a situation.
have to agree with this completely, we could still have been in contention, but it all fizzled out.I know its been said before but with a few additions and a few less injuries we could be real contenders. As Lord Sugar would say coulda, woulda, shoulda
For me its now a case of anyone but the chavs.

Gerrard was all set to move to Chelsea till the Scouse mafia put pressure on his family.
Gerrard has been photographed in an Everton kit holding the league trophy (I'd guess aged 9ish)
Gerrard is a cheating diving scumbag, who got clean away with an assult in a bar.
This is possibly why people have a problem with him and the "media wankfest" over him.
He was a great player 4/5 years ago and inspire them to cup victories, but now is little mor ethan a glorified penalty taker.
and Tony Adams,Merson,Wright, etc etc were all saints, not to mention Jack and RVP( who wasn't an alledged rapist until he became a UTD player).if Gerrard was an Arsenal player we'd all be cracking one off over him,as he isn't everyone hates him, petty very petty,be the bigger man instead and admit hes been a fantastic player for the premier league
And all those Arsenal players were detested by other fans, who took great delight in their shortcomings.
Personally, I have a problem with Adams and Merson because they let Arsenal down, we could have won so much more had they (and other team mates) been more professional.
If you had bothered to read my post you would have noted that I said 4/5 years ago Gerrard was a great player who inspired them to win trophies
I don't detest Gerrard, I mearly pointed out the possible reasons that others would take some delight in his failure as similar to Bryan Robson 20 years ago, he gets man of the match for getting the coin toss right
I can't ever remember cheering 2 Chelsea goals as loudly as I did today. Fucking priceless - where's our murdering Mickey friend today then? Long way back to Surrey from the game today

He doesn't play for Arsenal though, does he!? He plays for Liverpool and he's an absolute *word censored*.
Logic and reasoning has its place but ffs it's football, fuck him and fuck his shitstain of a club. Why do people insist on being "reasonable" in one of the few facets of life where being an illogical, bitter bastard is still acceptable.
If these sanctimonious cuntslops end up emptyhanded after all but being annointed champions by all and sundry then we should all rejoice. Even more so if Stevie Geespot costs them it. The thought of Hansen choking to death on the tears of sorrow bleeding from the vagina on his forehead is worth it on its own.
Absolutely delighted. You'd have to say if Citeh win at Goodison now on Saturday it's theirs. Pity Liverpool don't play before then because I think now they've discovered they're not invincible Palace might have taken something off them if the pressure was on them to win to stay in it.
I was surprised how pleased I felt for both Chelsea goals... Definitely don't want Maureen to win the league, but something quite satisfying to see Suarez miss out after staying with them... Fingers crossed for a City when against Everton next week - doing everyone a favour!

Depends on us tomorrow.
We turn up and gut pardew and co,then blue dippers will have nothing to play for and I can even imagine their fans cheering on Shitty winning. Same as the victims will be cheering on the Toon so that Everton give their all on Saturday

I do not have a problem with Adams.
He was jailed, but we won the league that season!
He had severe booze problems but they did not seem to affect his on-the-pitch form too much and he bravely faced up to them and has conquered them.
Merson for sure could have been better had he been sober, but no one can accuse him of being lazy. He gave what he could under his compromised circumstances.
He had personal problems, he he too has faced up to them and seems to have conquered them.
There were a few others with booze and drug problems but they were young and had (relative) cash to spend and a bit of fame, and I bet if they look back they would change things.
That scrappy equaliser that city scored against Sunderland to secure a point is going to be very very valuable the way things are heading....a big high five to our old boy Vito

Yeah, Adams led us to four league titles and three FA Cups, so to 'have a problem' with him is pretty poor form.

What could we have won, had he - and several others been professional and not been piss head's during their relatively short career's ?
Benfica 1991 - Where we were given the run around in extra time........maybe a few less beers every week abnd we could have beaten them.
Wrexham 1992 - League Champions Arsenal v bottom of Div 4 Wrexham......
Who knows if alchohol played a part in these or other defeats - it sure as hell couldn't have helped.

Let's not get carried away here though - Benfica was what, the second round? Wrexham the third round? It's not as if these were finals in which they'd made costly mistakes that outright cost us the trophies.
Henry, Bergkamp, Pires and the rest were sober during their careers, and still didn't win every trophy. To blame Adams and Merson for us not winning more - considering all they DID do for the club - seems extremely ungrateful.
