uniteds form is suddenly ominous. two late goals at the Toon. the fuckers are now only three points behind us. :banghead:

though the chavs had another bad night at home. we are only 3 points behind them. :barscarf:

its tightening up.

we have WHU (a), CHAVS (h), Cardiff (h)

united - spurs (a), brighton (h), burnley (h)

chavs- Newcastle (h), US (a), Bournemouth (a)

i think we have to beat the chavs and unfortunately rely on the spuds to keep 4th in our sights.

I still stick by my belief that the chavs will not get top 4 unless they buy a better striker

yeah, i'm more worried about united finishing 4th or 5th than them. if you can man mark hazard or just keep nipping his ankles he can go very quiet.

Hazard is undoubtedly a great player when he is on top form, but doesn’t hit that level even nearly enough to be considered in the top bracket for me. Goes far too many periods over the course of every season where he does very little. His goal scoring and assist stats are also not particularly remarkable for an attacker in a side who are always around the top and has no real defensive responsibilities, normally playing a free role as second striker almost.

Think of the class attacking players in this league that went before him. Ronaldo, Suarez, Van Persie for two and a half seasons, Bale - they were winning their teams games week in week out, not having 8-12 excellent games a season. Salah contributes with performance, goals and assists just about every game.

Don’t get me wrong he is one of the best attackers in the league and I’d love to have him. Just don’t think that he is truly among the best in the world.

City should win if their defence turns up.Its a pretty poor Liverpool midfield, how can u get away with Henderson and Milner? It's not right, no fuckin way.

youre right. its like when united had butt & scholes, teams were afraid to have ago at them, but when they did they won. ie US !

City should win this by a mile - Fernandinho is back tonight.

i'm actually looking forward to watching the highlights tonight. it should be a good open game.

Pretty open, if intense game..Im sure if the score stays the same Liverpool and their mouthpieces in the media will blame 'faulty goal line technology ' .

that was a great turn and finish - almost Lacazette-esque in its execution

we are 45 minutes away from Invincible's Day :barscarf:

NBC say Shaqiri is coming on - 6 goals from 10 games. not bad for an ex stoke player.

WTF was Ederson trying to do....could he not see that Stones was comfortably going to clear the ball. TBF Stones did brilliantly to keep it out however if it had been against anyone other than the victims it would have been funny if it had gone in as an own goal

Salah has won penalties in the last two games for somebody breathing in his direction and pathetically flopping to the floor. Robertson ran past Sterling and basically rugby tackled him at 1-0 and nothing doing.

And so it continues.

City massively underwhelming for me.
