SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This guy was released by Schalke last year. Great....that world class signing that we needed.

The man has to go... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN HIM!
He failed at Stuttgart and he failed at Schalke 04.

Well, he's free and has a poor fitness record, so right up Wenger's street then!

We need another centre-back so I'd be happy with this signing. Also £6m for a 19-year-old defender is decent money, not cheap.

Anyway Freiburg's sporting director has said that there haven't been any bids for Ginter:

‘There have been no offers for Matthias, and to suggest we have agreed a fee, as mentioned, is nonsense,’ said Saier. ‘The fact of the matter is, we have no thoughts about selling him.’

Nice to see that twat Brendan Rodgers squirming and bleating like a lamb over us apparently pursuing Suarez . He will be out of a job by March when the fans realise they are victims (again) of his plan . Give him another season and he will be at Bolton / Blackburn / Blackpool or some other lower league northern dog team . Monkey

This guy is an aggressive ball-winner and a workhorse. He's also a good passer and has the typical South American temper apparently. 8)

I like that Wenger is going for temperamental passionate motherfuckers in Suarez and now this guy. :D

Check this vid out of him:

Hope he makes it. :barscarf:

Where does that leave us, SteveO? - Cisse, perhaps??  .... oh God, that actually seems plausible :(
Look for someone who scored between 10 and 15 goals in Ligue 1 last season and you'll find our next target. Never mind that his most recent raids into Ligue 1 for strikers have led him to the door of Chamakh, Gervinho, Park and Le Chapman, he'll be back there in a week or so swelling the coffers of a bunch of also rans like St Etienne or Lens.

One thing is for sure and that is Suarez isn't coming
