THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Kroenke likes profit, Wenger delivers him profit.

Silverware is an added bonus for Kroenke but not essential.

Wenger did not have to persuade Kroenke of anything.
Kroenke's American franchises are not huge winners of silverware, but they tick over and make cash (as far I can tell) and Kroenke is happy with that.
Brings up the question:

What is the point running a professionell football club  :?: :!:

Exactly. :( Our beloved Arsenal were once a football club. Now we are a real estate business that dabbles in football. It's shameful. :( :(

No, not really Sid, I've just had enough of this shit, how many years has it been going on, I've got to admit with Wigan winning the FA Cup has sent me over the edge, Wenger fucked up big time in the Blackburn game but all the AKB's go on about is qualifying for the fucking champions league as if it's the ultimate thing in football. The sooner they cut the places down to the top 2 the better it'll be imo.

Why were people singing 'one arsene Wenger' earlier! It doesn't prove anything finishing 4th maybe...

Wenger will never win us another trophy.

So Mertasacker and Kocielney have done quite well together and finally we look more solid in defence. Is it true that we are selling Kocielney to Bayern Munich ??
That would just continue the current Arsenal tradition of classless acts.

It's true though! They've fallen in love with the guy who's kept them chained to a radiator in his piss stained basment for the past 8 years. Fookin hell!!
