I have to admit I thought his days were numbered after his on-field strop at Brum.

His 'outburst' last year was probably ill-advised, but a lot of it was true and needed to be said! He just let his frustrations and what was going on boil over.

But to be fair he has got his head down (though I was sure he would be off this summer) he just needs to channel that passion!

SWP and Richards scored or assisted every goals, they are both on Man City's right side. Our left side was poor during this game and that costed us the game. I thought when Rvp scored that we'll win it coz we were controlling the game but while we were going forward, they scored in counter attacks.
Clichy was defo guilty on 3 goals, but Diaby who was supposed to play left midfielder/winger didn't help him a lot. And when Song came off, it was worst and we concede 2 goals.

I don't know why Diaby spent the whole game on the pitch, he was poor, useless. I still think his game against Pompey was an accident. With Arshavin injured, Wenger should have played Eduardo on the left wing not Diaby. Even Wilshere could have done better than him in midfield.

The 1st half was poor, no creativity, it was exactly like last season when we were drawing 0-0 every games. But Rosicky was very good when he came in, 1 assist and 1 goal. The seconde half was much better, it's a shame we conceded these goals in counter attacks.

Yeah, I'm still very disappointed and frustrated.

I'm frustrated because it seems no matter what this team tries to achieve, we always seem to have players who make silly, individual errors that sabotage the efforts of the team.

I think back to last seasons massive cup semi finals.... Chelsea in the FA Cup when Flappy gifted Drogba an open goal, and ManUre in the Champions League when Gibbs slipped and Almunia let in a 40 yard freekcik to end any hopes we had :( ... well, this season has started the same; Almunia and Diaby turned a great win at Old Trafford into a sickening defeat, and the defending at Citeh was painfully bad, especially Clichy and Almunia's own goal (where was his footwork?????? ) :banghead:

I'm also frustrated because the injuries just keep mounting up, and when one player returns, another gets injured.... and so it continues.

On a more positive note, I should say that I'm liking the fact that everyone seems to be trying their hardest and we are playing quite well.... so, if (and it's a massive if :( ) we can cut out the silly mistakes, this team might just suprise a few people yet.

The good thing is we'll play on Wednesday, against an average team.
So we can bounce back quickly.
