Although I agree with the general theme of your post, I can't concur with that bit. In fact, getting £16m for Song is among the best bits of business Wenger has ever done!! The mistake was in not getting that 'true holding midfielder' - which Song never was and never would be good enough to be.
That holding midfielder was Lassana Diarra. Don't worry though, Flamini definitely won't walk out on a free at the end of the season so might as well sell him.
