based on previous years, any plans we do have will be scuppered by a long injury to at least two players - this year it will probably be kos or per, Giroud, and Ox again.

i dread to think that walcott will be injured for a 3rd year...

Would probably be wengers greatest ever achievement    :barscarf: :barscarf:

Bacary Sagna is definitely heading to Man City in the summer as backup to Zabaleta according to the Times.

Spend the rest of his career playing second fiddle to Zabaleta all for a bit more money? What a waste. Still good luck to him. Those bills need paying...

yep.

I like Sagna I always have, but he could still be 1st choice at many clubs, why be backup @ City. Maybe he misses Clichy?

or its a fair market assessment of his ability and value to a top of the heap club.

i liked him but he couldn't cross - which means he's not considered a starter by PSG, Monaco or god forbid Liverpool, either.

Had our bac been the real deal those three and/or barca would have picked him up on his free.

the top clubs all use stats to pick players now, i'd bet bacs completed crosses were pretty low...

Lots of fresh rumours of Sagna going to City. We really shouldn't have lost him, but to have another good player go to City is just a joke.
Not sure I understand this one. Lose-lose for Sagna.

Sagna shouldn't replace Zabaleta but if he does, the city fans will hate him for it. If he doesn't, he'll sit on the bench for 80% of their matches when he could have started for us.

bac vs calum chambers :

http://eplindex.com/52988/calum-chamber ... inion.html

chambers :

87 crosses in 21 games - accuracy 21%

bac :

115 crosses in 37 games - accuracy 15%

thats one successful cross in 2.5 games for bac....

Anderlecht's Senegalese defender Cheikhou Kouyate, 24, is still interesting Arsenal, who made an enquiry in the January transfer window.

I think Muller could be a good CF for us if we could lure him from Bayern?

Sagna will go to citeeh to play centre back and not be a back up right back - surprised at others thinking differently

It wouldn't surprise me if they field him left too. Replace Clichy, back up Kolarov. Basically a versatile back up for their back four.

That's a very real possibility, and I think he'll be brilliant for them in that position, unfortunately. If, however, he is simply to be back up to Zabaleta, then that's just insane. Yes he'll be paid a lot more... but still. We really should have tried harder to keep him.

Apparently we did but Shitty are offering £100k a week for a FB in his 30s, now that's insane
