Cancel the BBQ the fucker is almost done for

Wishful thinking my friend - Lord Wenger's new deal is an absolute certainty. It was only a few weeks ago that Gazidis was talking about him being committed for the long termrodders999 wrote:9 days before the season starts and not a fucking clue. What an absolute farce of a club. A new level of incompetence has been reached this Summer. The only positive thing to come out of it all is that Le Turnip has signed his own death warrant with his bungling ineptitude and its adios in May 2014.

nah augie, a box to box does both - knows when to defend and sit in front of the back four, and when to bomb forward and make one pass or finish or a move.augie wrote:Surely a naturally defensive midfielder is what we need so that it can free up wilshere, cazorla, ramsey, ox and rosicky to play their more natural attacking game ? Buying a box to box midfielder will still mean the same amount of defensive responsibility for those attacking midfielders and is nearly as alien a concept as playing podolski and bendtner on the wing

Sad but very fucking true...northbank123 wrote:The only board member with the balls to sack the bloke is Kroenke - who wouldn't even be aware of the fallout from sacking Our Dear Leader because he spend his year fucking round on that ranch of his. And why would he sack him when Wenger gives him a ticket to the all-you-can-eat cash cow CL buffet every year?
I am with Clockender on this one - I want us to buy a box-to-box midfielder who can tackle.clockender1 wrote:nah augie, a box to box does both - knows when to defend and sit in front of the back four, and when to bomb forward and make one pass or finish or a move.augie wrote:Surely a naturally defensive midfielder is what we need so that it can free up wilshere, cazorla, ramsey, ox and rosicky to play their more natural attacking game ? just like Vieira did

Are we unlucky with transfers or have we have we not got a clue ?
No Higuain, no Rooney, no Suarez, no Fellaini........no player in excess of £20m. Not now, not in January, not next year, not on Wenger's watch.....ever. And certainly no surprise to me
Well, if whats being said is true - Suarez had a deal with Rodgers to stay another season on the basis of playing UCL and they agreed to have a contract drawn up to reflect this understanding. It appears no one doubts that words exist to the effect that failure to make UCL and an offer of 40m+ were trigger points. Now, whether by serendipity or through instruction, the lawyers may have made those clauses ambiguous however that does not hide the INTENT.northbank123 wrote:Absolute shambles - the money that must be earned by Suarez's advisors and they've let Liverpool ambiguously word a release clause. A clause obliging Liverpool to inform Suarez of any massive offer seems bizarre and pointless - don't doubt he thought he was getting a straight release clause at that fee.
AGREE ENTIRELY!!!! Have been saying this for 6 or 7 years. We don't need a box to box we need a proper number 6! We want someone who very rarely gets forward, runs all day, challenges like a machine and is quick to get a pass away. Geez i miss Petit. How about his goal in the WC Final in 98!augie wrote:Surely a naturally defensive midfielder is what we need so that it can free up wilshere, cazorla, ramsey, ox and rosicky to play their more natural attacking game ? The way things are going I'd take him back - Im getting pretty close to losing all my principles. Ive been following a team over here in Rugby League for 40 years and dropped off them because of a signing they made at the start of the season - a self centred gun for hire - of course they are leading the comp convincingly and id be a bandwagoner if i jump back on.1989 wrote:Talk on Twitter that Flamini is back and training with the club.

He can go and fcuk himself - another cheapo average signing who couldnt get in the milan team ahead of average ambrosiniToo much made of this c.unt who could run around for hours but lacked the intelligence, physique and natural ability on the ball to ever be top level

Wenker and the c.unts on the board probably think that signing this mercenary bas***d will appease those fans who have complained about him being allowed to walk on a free a few years ago - I wasnt that arsed about him staying back then and I certainly dont want the c.unt back now![]()
